Retrievor RT-101 is a Powerful GPS Tracker For Your Items or Loved Ones

No matter how hard you try not to forget the last place where you kept your phone or any other everyday item, I guarantee you’d fail sometime in your life. As for me, I fail every other day! Especially when I’m in a hurry and the last thing in the world I’d not want to lose are the car keys or my phone or worse, my wallet! When I came across the new-age device trackers, I felt relieved and thought at least someone has come up with a solution I can make good use of. But again, the size of those trackers kind of ruined the excitement because hey-I-don’t-want-a-gigantic-tracker-spoiling-the-beauty-of-my-everyday-items.

I wanted something which will do the job of keeping a track on my items but won’t look bulky or too big a design. Quite naturally, the search wasn’t very pleasing until my eyes fell up on Retrievor RT-101. Call this one of the world’s smallest GPS tracker and I wouldn’t disagree with you.

Track Your Items and Loved Ones

One of the features that made me like Retrievor RT-101 is the fact that it can be used to track your pets as well as your kids location too. Now that 10 million pets go missing in the United States every year and 8 million children have gone missing this year, I think such trackers can prove to be very useful for all of us. The idea to come up with such a tiny yet powerful GPS tracker seemed impossible in the beginning but the team didn’t take long to turn it into reality. To put it in a sentence, Retrievor RT-101 is slightly larger than a US Quarter in diameter and not much thicker than a few stacked together. It gives you everything you’d expect from a GPS tracker but only in a form factor you will prefer using to track your items and pets or kids rather than those bulky ones you’ve used till date.

Tiny Size and Powerful Functionality

The exact measurements of Retrievor RT-101 are 35 mm (1.37″) in diameter and 16 mm (0.63″) thick which can be used to track almost anything you desire. In fact, the Nano Hornet GPS unit includes one of the industry’s smallest, fully integrated module with an on-board antenna. Other than the antenna, it consists of other elements such as LNA, SAW filter, TCXO, RTC crystal, RF shield and Power Management Unit with SiRFStarIV™ GPS processor. As stated on their Indiegogo campaign, “Innovative GPS firmware can detect changes in context, temperature, and satellite signals to achieve a state of near continuous navigation availability by maintaining and opportunistically updating its internal parameters while consuming mere microwatts of battery power.”
