Love Coffee? The Cauldryn Boiling Bottle Will Make You Jump for Joy

The science is still out on the health impacts of drinking coffee. But for those of us with a thing for caffeine, the smell of brewing beans is heavenly. Sadly, the aroma can seem like a distant memory when you’re trekking through back-country…but it doesn’t have to be. The Cauldryn Boiling Bottle lets you prepare your hot drink of choice anywhere. It runs on battery power, and can hold enough water for proper refreshment. It even works with ice-cold water from a mountain stream.

– Portable bottle with sleek design fits neatly into any backpack

– Innovative Fyre heating element boils water in minutes for hot drinks and survival

– 16-ounce insulated vacuum flask holds temperature for days

Brilliant Boiling Bottle

When real adventurers need to drink water from natural sources, they make a fire. This is not because they crave coffee — it’s because boiling the water kills any bacteria or parasites lurking in the liquid. Of course, your average commuter doesn’t have these problems. They just want a macchiato to go.

Cauldryn is great in both of these situations. The bottle runs on battery power, but it can turn iced water into a steaming drink in minutes.

Once your brew reaches the perfect temperature, the bottle can keep it hot for days. It works perfectly for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or that all-important wild water.

Feel the Heat

Cauldryn’s unique abilities are down to the revolutionary Fyre heating element. At full power, this can heat your water to 212ºF on battery power alone.

Obviously, that would be a little warm for drinking temperature, so Cauldryn is adjustable. There are four modes in total. At 125–135 or 135–145 degrees, the Hot mode is perfect for making drinks. Impressively, Cauldryn can keep going at this temperature setting all day.

People who like *hot* drinks can select Extra Hot (160–170 degrees). The Brew (195–205 degrees) setting is ideal for squeezing the full flavor out of your beans, or pasteurizing drinking water. Finally, the full power Boil mode can be used for campsite cooking.

Once your water gets hot, the 16-ounce stainless steel bottle keeps your drink nice and toasty. The vessel is vacuum insulated, with a secure lid and easy pouring spout. It means you can go walking in the mountains and still enjoy hot coffee all day.

Just as importantly, this feature is great for commuters. No longer must you wait in line every morning for a barrista to misspell your name. Instead, you simply fire up Cauldryn whenever you need your caffeine fix.

Note, there are two versions of the bottle: one with a battery, and one that works only with the AC base. Given that this bottle holds the heat, you could probably just do the boiling before you leave.

“The Cauldryn is the first portable travel mug of its kind. Utilizing the revolutionary Fyre heating element, the bottle has limitless applications with five different heat settings, which can keep its contents at a specific temperature all day long.” — Cauldryn on IndieGoGo

What We ❤️

Instant coffee without the instant coffee machine (or the terrible taste). How cool is that? Likewise, pure water is pretty important when you’re miles from civilization.

Future Designs

If this came with some kind of brewing insert, my life would be complete.
