Another fantastic update for the gadget flow came out today. We’ve been working really hard the past weeks on refining a few of our features and taking them to a next level.  Today we are excited to announce the second version of our wishlist that initially came out last March and lets you save your favorite gadgets into private wishlists. Now with Wishlist 2.0 you have the ability to make your profile public so everybody can see your favorite gadgets! We’ve redesigned the related posts in order to include titles and bigger photos and lastly our redesigned menu bar in order to search our website even faster. Ready for all the details?

Wishlist 2.0

Last March, we’ve decided to develop a feature that lets you save your gadgets into a private wish list and more than 15.000 people use it so far. Today we are announcing wish list 2.0 which introduces Public Profiles and Facebook Activity.

Now You can sign in with your Facebook or twitter account and turn your profile public, you will then get a unique link (ex https://thegadgetflow.com/user/evanvar) which you can share with your friends anytime.

Wishlist the gadget flow public

In order to make your private (Default) wishlist Public you have to go over settings or (edit profile) tab and turn on the “Public Wishlist” option at the bottom of the page.

All public and private profiles will take the photo from your social network (facebook or twitter) along with a short description (max 350 words) and of course your social profile links. You can control any of that through the settings panel or if you go under my wishlist and click “edit profile”. Lastly, in order to remove a gadget from your wish list you’ll have to hover your mouse over the image and hit the “X” button. To include new items into your wish list you’ll have to go to the gadget’s page and hit “Save”

Redesigned Menu

Having our categories, hot collections and gift ideas apart wasn’t efficient enough therefore we’ve redesigned the whole menu bar and gathered all categories into one mega menu. Now you can simply go under browse and check all the available categories that we have and with the “hover” feature that we’ve added you also see how many gadgets are included in each category.
