Misfit Ray Tracks Your Activity and Sleep in Style

Misfit Ray Tracks Your Activity and Sleep in Style

I currently wear a fitness tracker ever day. It’s the Misfit Flash to be exact. I like that it doesn’t have a touchscreen, buttons, or actually anything flashy at all. The black and graphite design is minimalist enough to go with all of my clothing and it also tells the time. The problem? It looks too much like a watch for me to ever wear a watch. When it comes to the tracker and the beautiful new watch my mom got me for Christmas, I choose tracking my steps and calories (sorry, mom). But, Misfit heard my desperate cries for a more stylish wearable and have answered with the all new Misfit Ray.

The Misfit Ray is a fitness and sleep tracker that has been thoughtfully designed to integrate with your life, even down to your fashion choices. With the trusted tracking of Misfit and stunning yet elegant style, this is the one wearable you’ll actually want to wear.

Misfit Ray

Fashioned to be used by both men and women alike, the Misfit Ray contains all of its fitness technology inside a slim and sleek cylinder. The aircraft grade aluminum body is available in carbon black and rose gold and can be worn in a variety of ways. The pure form can be displayed as a necklace, with a fancier strap, and can even remain on your wrist without taking away from your fancy watch. With so many wearing options, you’ll never have to choose between style and fitness again.

Even more beautiful than the exterior is the simplicity of the Misfit Ray. This tracker never sleeps and is always tracking. You’ll never have to take it off to recharge the battery but instead only replace the cell battery after about 6 months. With the modest multicolor LCD display you can remain informed. The always on feature means you can track more, understand more, and improve your life like never before.

Ray with app

Ray uses a 3-axis accelerometer to track the duration and quality of your sleep in addition to the standard steps and distance. Use the app to track specific activities such as cycling, yoga, or even swimming as it’s water resistant up to 50 meters. The Misfit app takes these metrics into account to also track the calories you’ve burned throughout each day. Ray is also connected. Use it as a control button for selfies or switching songs, or anything else you can think of. It will also vibrate to alert you of calls, texts, and alarms.

Available for pre-order and shipping in the Spring of 2016, the Misfit Ray can be purchased with a leather strap for $119.99 or the traditional sports strap for $99.99.
