ProBASE Is the Elegant Way to Elevate Your Monitor

In recent times, laptops have overtaken desktop PCs in the popularity stakes. It’s easy to see why — modern laptops are powerful yet portable. One of their few disadvantages only becomes apparent when you need to use peripherals. Plugging and unplugging becomes a way of life. That’s why ProBASE, a stylish aluminum monitor stand, has multiple ports. It allows you to connect every monitor, hard drive and mouse to your MacBook via one cable. There is even storage space to keep your desk tidy.

– Sleek aluminum stand supports your monitor or your laptop

– USB hub connects multiple devices to your laptop via one cable, with support for 4K monitors

– Concealed drawer keeps all your peripherals safely stashed

Elevate Your Monitor

Because laptops can now handle tasks such as video editing, many people use external monitors. This gives you a better view of the action, and a second screen for procrastinating. To use two screens on one desk, you need some separation.

ProBASE does this by elevating your display. The sturdy aluminum stand can support 33 pounds, so your monitor offers no challenge. The curved design holds your screen at a good height for working, while providing storage space for your peripherals.

The first thing you notice about ProBASE is the design. It comes straight out of the Apple playbook of minimal chic. You can choose from two colors: silver, and space grey. While the former looks perfect with your MacBook, the dark option will match the upcoming iMac Pro.

You can use ProBASE on the smallest of desks. It measures just 21 inches long and 9 inches wide, with a vacant space underneath. This spot is for stowing your keyboard, or perhaps your graphics tablet.

In addition, the stand has a concealed side drawer. You can store stationery and other small items here. Once again, this stand is making the most of the available space.

USB Hub

That said, the most innovative part of ProBASE is the way it handles connectivity.

USB hubs are not a new invention, but the technology is moving fast. ProBASE has three USB 3.0 ports and one USB-C data port. It can also handle 4K video via the HDMI port, and both models work with your regular power adapter. The HD version is made for MacBooks, while the C version is for other laptops and desktops.

Consequently, you can charge your laptop, connect to your monitor and hook up multiple USB devices via one cable. This is particularly useful if you use backup hard drives, and it keeps your desk free from cable spaghetti. You can even charge your mobile devices while you work.

Furthermore, you can’t accidentally pull all your precious drives onto the floor when you pick up your laptop. This should make the morning rush much less perilous!

What We ❤️

Laptop and monitor stands are usually dumb creatures. In contrast, ProBASE is a professor of productivity with the looks of a model!

Future Designs

A wireless charging stand for your phone would be an awesome addition. If the project reaches its stretch funding goals, ProBASE will get a memory card reader and ethernet connectivity.
