Today marks the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event, and the company is back with a slew of new and updated products. There’s plenty to see, from the Galaxy Watch4 to the Z series phones like the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3. Improved Galaxy Buds and even Thom Browne limited-edition products are all on the table today. Let’s check them out below!

Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Series

The Galaxy Watch4 Series lets you customize its look to match your unique style; you can personalize the Watch4 with 40 different faces and mixable bands. It brings a newly designed strap that helps with health tracking. New Health Experience will now allow you to track snoring and breathing in addition to blood oxygen and sleep stats. So you can better understand your sleep habits. The Watch4 Series includes blood pressure and ECG monitoring as well, and BIA technology lets you accurately measure body composition. New social features allow you to share data and workout stats with family and friends.

The Watch4 Series will be the first to use Google Wear OS by Samsung. This brings a whole new watch experience that’s well worth being excited about. User interface enhancements utilize bezel swiping and motion gestures to increase your ability to interact in natural and intuitive ways. The Galaxy Watch4 series comes with LTG capabilities and can get up to 40 hours of battery life.

Samsung S Pen Fold Edition

The S Pen Fold Edition has a 1.5 mm pen tip and supports 4,096 different pressure levels for a natural writing and drawing experience. It fits comfortably in your hand, letting you write for lengthier amounts of time. You can store your pen in an included pouch which makes it much easier to transport. The pen will work with the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3

Stylish and sleek, the Galaxy Z Fold3 brings a myriad of new features to this new folding phone. When closed, it’s like a regular smartphone, but opened, it becomes like a small tablet. Visuals are brighter and use less battery. The front-facing camera is now hidden beneath the display so it’s no longer in the way while you game and watch movies. There are also improvements to the sound system as stereo speakers provide multidirectional audio.

Despite the Z Fold3’s complex design, Samsung is now able to make it water resistant and more durable. For example, the display is protected 80% more than the original. The Z Fold3 now supports the S Pen for a fantastic drawing and note-taking experience, which will be a huge asset for a device like this.

Lastly, there’s more collaboration between third-party developers and Samsung. Apps have smartly optimized UI for expanded screen use and feature their own multi-screen modes.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 will be available on August 27th.

The new Z Flip3‘s fit is so compact it can fit inside your back pocket. It comes in 4 different colors and has an advanced backside display which greatly expands your ability to interact with the phone’s many features. You can even customize the look of this display and match it to your Galaxy Watch4. When folded, Bixby’s integration with the display allows for greater functionality.

Flex Mode lets you take better photos and selfies with auto framing and wide-angle capabilities. Video calls especially work great in this mode, and an improved speaker system helps them sound clearer. Along with the Fold3, the Flip3 uses Samsung’s One UI 3 to make tasks a breeze with intuitive and flexible interface improvements.

Thom Browne Limited-Edition Designs

Thom Browne has partnered with Samsung to bring its renowned colors and features to the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3. This includes glass bodies and perfect symmetry, and the shiny hinges add a unique finish while capturing light reflections. Additionally, the leather accessories feature finely stitched elements. The Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 Thom Browne Edition in Thom Browne White are available for preorder from August 11, 2021, in limited numbers.

Samsung Galaxy Buds2

Another exciting gem announced at Samsung Unpacked is the Samsung Galaxy Buds2, which comes in 4 colors. The buds have a better balanced sound. Active noise canceling helps in loud environments, and the battery lasts up to 5 hours with ANC enabled—compared to 7.5 without. Ambient sound mode connects you with the outside world and has improved call quality. These earbuds pair and connect seamlessly to the Galaxy Watch4 and Z series phones, among others.
