Let’s take a closer look at this innovative exercise wearable.

Manage your music in the playlist mode

You’ve been there before; you’re midway through your morning jog when a song you’re not that crazy about comes on the playlist. You stop running, take your phone out of your pocket, and skip the track. When you start running again, you’re slightly irked about the delay. With the ArcX, you can avoid that. This sports wearable’s Playlist mode lets you use the joystick to control your music just as you would on your phone. Simply toggle up and down to lower or increase the volume. And to skip tracks, move the joystick to the left or right.

Take calls with this fitness ring’s call modes

If you’re in the middle of a heart-pumping rowing session in the water, the last thing you want to do is stop your momentum by reaching for your phone to take a call. With ArcX, you don’t have to. In the call modes, an incoming call overrides any other mode. All you have to do is press on the joystick’s center to accept it. When the call ends, the ArcX returns to the mode you were using.

You can use it to take your split and lap time just by using your index finger to toggle and briefly hold the joystick. And don’t worry, you’ll still be able to listen and control your music while the stopwatch function is active.

Get emergency help with the SOS function

If you get into trouble while you’re out, you can trigger the SOS call function mode when you press and hold the center button for five seconds. Once you do this, the function automatically calls an emergency services number in your region. It also sends an SMS that requests emergency help along with a link to your current location. You can also designate a friend or family member as an SOS contact. So it’s a function that helps you breathe a little easier, especially if you’re into solo hikes in the great outdoors.
