Amazon developed faster server hardware

The newly updated processor is created specifically for data centers and will reach Amazon Web Services soon. It's possible the new ARM chip is as much as 20% faster than Graviton, which was released last year. Though not yet officially announced, the new processor could have as many as 32 cores.

Dubai will use Tesla Cybertruck in police force

Apparently among the 250,000 preorders, Dubai plans to use the new Tesla vehicle in 2020. The cybertrucks will be used to make its police force known in tourist areas. With a thick stainless steel exterior, the Tesla cybertruck may also have bulletproof windows.

Elon Musk tweeted that there have been 187,000 Cybertruck orders so far, claiming it was all done “with no advertising & no paid endorsement.” Of those, 41% have chosen the dual motor, while 41% chose the tri-motor and 17% the single motor.

Microsoft delays Surface Buds launch

Originally scheduled for a December launch, Microsoft chief product officer Panos Panay tweeted the Surface Buds will be available in Spring 2020. In the tweet, Panay says the delay is due to the fact that it’s a “relentless pursuit to get all the details right.”

Tesla debuts new Cybertruck

Announced late Thursday, the six-seat Cybertruck features a 6.5-foot bed, a 500-mile range, and can go from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds. It also has armor glass which Elon Musk tested with a hammer and ball bearings as well as a video of a shot from a gun.

Pirelli develops smart tires

In a press release, Pirelli claims it’s the first company to create 5G tires. The tires will communicate road conditions to the driver via 5G. The innovative technology will detect things such as hydroplaning and not only alert the driver but also inform other drivers on the road.
