Boston Dynamics’ Four-Legged Bot Gets a Developer SDK

Starting today, the Spot Software Development Kit (SDK) will be publicly available to view on Github, so that interested developers for Spot, the four-legged bot, can see what’s available on the platform as soon as possible. The SDK enables a broad range of developers and non-traditional roboticists to communicate with the robot and develop custom applications that enable Spot to do useful tasks across a wide range of industries.

Walmart’s Alphabot Grocery Picker Goes Operational

Working alongside staff in a warehouse behind the Salem superstore, the Alphabot grocery picker are now into the real world. The system will easily locate an item, pick it and bring it to a workstation to be checked and bagged by a staff member.
