According to the tweet, those attending #SDC19 got to see the latest foldable clamshell smartphone project from Samsung. It doesn’t have a name, but the rendering shows the device folding vertically as opposed to horizontally.
Scheduled for November 13, 2019, Motorola’s invite claims the new product is “an original unlike any other,” telling invitees, “You’re going to flip.” The new Razr smartphone was originally rumored to be released in the summer and the expected price is about $1,500.
In a single photo of a carbon fiber box with an orange stripe, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau tweeted the fire emoji, leaving the consumer to fill in the gaps. Like the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition with 30W charging, it’s expected the brand will also include a version for the 7T Pro, though there’s no hint as to which feature will be enhanced.
According to leaks from 9-to5Mac, the new chip is called the “Pixel Neural Core” and will presumably use neural network techniques for better image processing. Along with this new leak, the spec sheet reveals a USB-C to USB-C charging cable.
