Apple knocks 3rd party battery fixes

According to iFixit, both iOS 12 and 13 beta show a message telling users their battery needs servicing if it’s been replaced by a 3rd party. This means the brand is requiring all battery fixes to be done via Apple (or one of its Authorized Service Providers).

Google Fit adds sleep tracking features

The fitness app is now able to determine and track sleep patterns and even gives insight into how much sleep a user needs. The app update also includes dark mode, iOS route maps, and tracked workouts from 3rd party apps and wearables.

Amazon to cease Dash orders Aug 31
