Stanford debuts ultra-loud sound

Using a powerful X-ray laser, Stanford scientists have developed an underwater sound so loud it can boil water instantly. The x-rays actually vaporize the water molecules as they pass through. This sound sets a new threshold for how loud a sound can be underwater before it breaks apart.

AMD announces new graphics card
