Intel chips have an unfixable security flaw

The vulnerability lies within Intel's Converged Security and Management Engine (CSME). This part of the chip controls system boot-up, power levels, firmware and, most critically, cryptographic functions. Security specialists from Positive Technologies have found a tiny gap in security in that module could allow attackers to inject malicious code and, eventually, commandeer PCs.
