Japan’s spacecraft completes another phase of asteroid mission

The Hayabusa 2 successfully landed on the Ryugu asteroid and shot it with a specialized bullet. From there, the spacecraft was able to gather samples from the debris that fell off from the impact of the bullet. The goal is to determine the role of water and life on Earth. Hayabusa 2 will return to Earth in 2020.
