Uber JUMP to add auto bikes and scooters to on-demand offering

Uber has debuted “Micromobility Robotics” to their JUMP range of e-bikes. This would add autonomous bikes and scooters to the lineup, meaning the vehicles could drive themselves to recharging stations or to users at their locations. Little is known about the new venture, but the brand says the focus, for now, is to “improve safety, rider experience, and operational efficiency.”

Amazon develops safety vest to avoid robot-human collisions

Amazon will be using a Robotic Tech Vest for its employees. The tech-filled wearable will send an alert to the robot with the location of the wearer. The built-in sensors allow the robot to move around them, reducing and, hopefully, eliminating collisions.
