Users are now able to restrict who adds them to group chats, choosing Nobody, My Contacts, and Everyone. This would prevent other users from adding random strangers to group chats. To bypass this, those without access would need a link from the group creator.

Snapchat attempts location-based check-ins

Status is the name of the new Snapchat feature which allows users to check-in to locations. Users can share their location on the Snap Map with a Bitmoji and the app will also save all locations for a private Passport collection.
