Honoring Johann Sebastian Bach for his birthday, today’s Google Doodle uses AI to let users compose their own music and then, incredibly, applies machine learning to find patterns in existing music from a dataset of 306 Bach compositions.

AirPower might (finally) have a launch date

According to DigiTimes, a Taiwanese publication, Apple plans to officially launch the much-anticipated AirPower in late March. The pending Apple event on March 25th seems like the logical time to announce, but there are plenty of other days that fall into “late March.”

God Of War wins the Game of the Year at the Game Developers Conference 2019. GDC says the game won thanks to its “mature narrative, dazzling visuals and refined combat gameplay.”

Facebook reveals passwords stored in plaintext

From a routine security review, Facebook determined back in January that hundreds of millions of users' passwords were kept in plaintext. Brian Krebs of Krebs on Security did his own security review and revealed that 2,000+ Facebook employees had access to these plaintext passwords.

Oculus announces Rift S VR headset

The latest addition to the Oculus range features higher resolution, built-in tracking, and more comfort. Developed in partnership with Lenovo, the Rift S comes with Touch controllers that have also had a light upgrade.

Xbox One S will soon be disc-less

Microsoft will be launching the Xbox One S All-Digital in May. This console has no disc slot and instead offers downloadable experiences. It will have 1TB of storage and the bundle is rumored to include Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, and Sea of Thieves.
