Just set up Luna (on a 2017 5K iMac, with 12.9" iPad Pro (1st gen) and Apple Pencil). Setup was easy, but every attempt to launch Astropad Studio forces the Luna app to quit. It seems Luna alone doesn't support pressure sensitivity, so it's not ideal for use with drawing apps without Astropad. Anyone able to figure out how to get both Luna and Astropad to run concurrently?

Got mine and set it up. Thanks! However, I'm having issues with pressure sensitivity. Where can I find info on that?

Thank you very much Luna team, you were transparent and honest, you deserve the long wait. I will receive my USBC device by next week! I just wish that someone would do a video of the device they have received, good luck for all.

Hi! I'm an early bird backer and I asked for one of each type of dongle (Display Port and USB-C). Can I get the USB-C adapter first or do I have to wait to get them both at the same time. Super excited!

Can you use touch on the iPad to control the mouse or selection? I find myself always trying to touch the screen to do stuff instead of using the laptop mouse. I can get the gestures to work (pinch to zoom, etc), but just not plain touch to tap on a button or menu. I tried the pencil also and that made no difference. Maybe I was just assuming you could interact with the mac desktop with touch also.

Very impressed with the product so far Astro! I received my Luna Display yesterday so I've only had an hour or so to use it, but it definitely outperforms other solutions I've tried in the past.

The delivery was scheduled for May 2018 and now you are talking about delivering in December 2018. You are far from fulfilling your promise!
I'm not sure that a competing product will not come out before that date!
It's really not professional. I am more and more reluctant to fund Kickstarter projects.
You are very disappointing

---NO REPLY NEEDED--- Looks like Luna Display is about to ship your rewards soon! If you do not need to update your shipping address, you do not need to take any further actions. You're all set! If you need to update your shipping address, please make any final changes here.

We are on track to deliver Luna by December 2018. We have announced an updated timeline here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/767721702/luna-display/posts/2119368 We will be posting an other update in July about the state of things. Thanks for your patience.

I appreciate the update but the complete silence on production and delivery schedules is insulting. Delays happen. Backers understand and expect delays but as part of the process we also expect and deserve updates on those delays. When are you now expecting delivery? You are past your expected delivery date.

Dear Astro Team, I must agree with Philip Ershler. Firm timelines are great but unrealistic but I would like to see some reasonable estimates given that the tests have concluded and production/QA should be underway. Citing that there is no major chinese holidays after this week, it would be nice to hear about your progress and your challenges. Thanks for your obligation.

Update #10, which had information about shipping time, from last February, talks about winter 2018. Does that mean you are still 5 or 6 months away from shipping? Are we likely to see anything before NEXT YEAR?

I'm patiently waiting to have it in my hands to decide on some hardware changes to my system, however it would be super nice if it worked on Windows too. I have my Macs partitioned ands use Win10 natively most of the time for work (the kind of programs I use are not available on Mac OS) so not to be able to use it on both OS's is definitely a problem for me.

1) You can make changes to your choice of Luna model from your Backerkit survey answers -- https://lunadisplay.backerkit.com/ If there are any problems, contact us at luna[at]astro-hq.com 2) For iPad stand from our photos, there's the Compass from TwelveSouth; as well as the DraftTable from ElevationLab is another good one.

Hi Luna Team:
I appreciate the effort and complexity of bringing new technology to fruition. Two questions to help me prepare for my Luna:
1) When I selected my Luna configuration last October, it was based on my MacBook Air. Now it looks like I might be upgraded to a MacBook Pro with all the new Thunderbolt ports, rendering my original selection obsolete. I do not have a confirmed date, but is there some kind odd exchange/upgrade/add-on program for those of us who are part of this campaign? 2) Any recommendation for an iPad stand? You have a cool looking one in one of your photos. I have a full leather case and would like something solid and portable (many miles on Delta...). Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

@(Yugen-Yamada) More info on delivery schedule can be found here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/767721702/luna-display/posts/2119368 @(Mark-Stickley) Hi Mark, at this stage we will fulfill orders in the order we have received them. We cannot guaranteed we will have enough inventory to fulfill your 2 orders at the same time for example. The online preorder system also doesn't make bundling units easy for us. We are 100% focused in delivery Lunas to our backers asap, I am sorry we cannot do any better at this time.

Hello, I was just wondering if it was possible to cancel my pledge at this time as you guys said we were able to do. Although I was and still am very excited about this project, I no longer have an iOS device as I did when the project was initially supposed to be delivered. I thank you all for the courtesy of giving this option to us and would appreciate a response in regarding how to go about this process. Thank you!

@(Eshaan-Pimpale) We obviously cannot predict what the future holds. However, the technology powering Luna Display has been long way into making. Our wireless video tech powering Luna has 5 years of Research & Development behind (it started with Astropad). All our tech is proprietary and we have sought patent protection when possible. I personally feel pretty confident once Luna Display is out we will be years ahead of any competitor. Giovanni Donelli

Hey Luna Display team, I am likely going to be getting a new Mac and was wondering since shipment is delayed if I could change my order from the Mini Display Port to the USB-C? I have also signed up to be a beta tester with the Mini Display Port - so I am hoping that wouldn't mess up being able to switch my order. Thanks!

Dear Luna Team, I absolutely understand that it takes time a lot of time and effort manufacture such a product on scale. I'm perfectly alright with receiving the product till the end of December but how can you prevent duplicates or competitor products from launching in the market before that? This has happened many times for various Kickstarter projects I have funded in the past.

Dear Luna Community, We have received over 2000 applications applications for our beta program... and 1000 just in the the first 30 minutes! Thanks for this overwhelming response, we are really honored to have such incredible community supporting our efforts. We have started rolling out the first units in the past few days (about 50). Those early beta testers have been notified personally. We will keep selecting people over the next couple weeks. Thank you again, Giovanni Donelli

I just read "the fine print" on Luna Display's computer compatibility list. It seems my particular MacBook is NOT on your recommended hardware list. Will my 1st generation MacBook "top of the line, BTO" model work with your product - in an adequate manner? My MacBook system specs: 1.3 GHz Intel Core M, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, Intel HD Graphics 5300 1536 MB and macOS 10.3.4 I do own both the iPad Air II and the 12.9" iPad Pro first generation tablet models. Quite frankly, Duet Display's performance (well, prior to the 10.3.4 update) was extremely capable in wired mode. Have you tested this model in your evaluations? Just curious. Thank you,
Sincerely,
Mike
