Effortlessly turn your desk into a standing desk with the touch of a button with the MOVI Add-on Standing Desk. This ergonomic standing desk makes it easy to reap the benefits of standing while you work. Transitioning between sitting and standing is simple using the one-touch electric lift, which supports up to 20 kg (44 lbs.) of equipment. Similarly, it also memorizes your exact standing height and recalls it every time you switch from sitting to standing. This elegantly designed desk features a durable bamboo bench top that doesn’t scratch or stain and is easy to clean. It offers a spacious workspace that feels like your existing desk, only elevated. Providing solid stability at all heights, you don’t have to worry about wobbling or leaning. Furthermore, the MOVI is suitable for users up to six foot four. It adjusts in exact half-inch increments all the way up to 44cm (17.5″) above your existing desk.

1) We are heavily testing MOVI and aiming for a 5 year warranty period (this is about 12,500 cycles of up and down). Should there be a fault, we will be happy to replace it. If the motor fails, the desk remains fixed in the position it stopped in. We are using a high quality motor manufacturer that powers many of the world's biggest brands in handheld electric motor equipment, so we are very confident of the reliability.
2) There are 2 x USB charge ports built into MOVI on the UI, which have been placed in very convenient locations for charging. For cable management, we are designing a separate clip-on product, which will attach to the back of MOVI, as well as other accessories such as monitor arms.
3) That is definitely not our plan. As you can see from the timeline, this project has been in the works for a few years already. Our aim is to take on the big guys like Varidesk and Human Scale, because we believe we have a superior product. Our aim is to build our own team and bring more products to market that create healthier workplaces.
Please feel free to ask any more questions.
Thanks,
Daniel
1. What happens when the motor breaks down, can we operate MOVI in a mechanical manner or it become a flat surface?
2. Is there any cable management facilities provided to help users with cables such as powercables to the monitors and also in case users want to have additional USB chargers etc.
3. Is there any commitment from the MOVI team NOT to do what OPLOFT project do : raise funds for a project, and then sold the project off before delivery to their backers? That project was so nasty to the backers. Best regards
