Areaware Radio Dock

Editor's Rating

This decorative Radio Dock designed by Jonas Damon for Areaware converts your cutting-edge brand new iPhone into one of those old wooden radios of yore. Why, you may ask, would you want to make Steve Jobs turn over in his grave? It’s a retro thing, because people like to remember how it was in the old days when there was no Internet and you fiddled with large knobs on large radios to try and catch a channel to listen to news, music or your favorite radio show. The iPhone fits neatly into the Radio Dock, and you can download their radio app to catch up to seven public channels within a 50-mile range. The Radio Dock is made of sustainably grown Beech wood, and as such may be considered an environmentally-friendly product.
