Review from Kickstarter
Hi Huixin, The retailers will be announced but we can't disclose which one yet as we have to confirm a bunch of logistics and operation agreements. But we are nearly there, our timeline is to do so before the campaign ends. Please bear with us in the meantime. Pricing wise, we will include that in the announcement! It would be fairly complicated for us to sort the shipment, the best way is to order the super early separately with the different account. But let us go through this point and see what can we do for you. Again, you and Tristan have contributed some very insightful ideas for us. We are working on the prototypes. Please check updates and see what we got so far - it is a working progress and we are doing our best to design and manufacture some new ideas for safety glasses. Thanks!! The Ossii Sound Team

HI Tristan, Thanks for your amazing feedback, we really appreciate you giving us the insights into your industry and how we could develop our glasses to solve some issues! We are currently looking into the standards you mentioned and some prototypes of the safety lens attachments. We had requests previously on our FB page on safety lens options, we will post an update about the progress we are making and what we need to make this happen! Thanks so much for your comment, really appreciate it! Best, The Ossii Sound Team

Thanks The Ossii Sound Team, for the quick and good news!
Would you be able to let us know about the list of stores/retailers available before the end of campaign? Maybe include the pricing (even if it's an estimation) for the different lenses as well? Just wanna ask if adding the pledge amount would be good enough? e.g. instead of pledging $99 for 1 set, I just change my pledge to $198 for 2 sets? By the way, I agree with Tristan Morris. It'll be good if your glasses are in line with safety glasses standards, as it'll help more people decide, as it's uncomfortable to wear protective safety glasses over prescription spectacles, and it'll be even more uncomfortable to add in headphones. If everything is combined, that'll be great. :)

Your project looks very promising, but like all projects it has room to expand its potential. I work at General Motors Manufacturing Plant at Springhill Tn. Last year we were given permission to wear bone conductive headphones which in turn, caused probably your number one competitor in the bone conductive industry to received over 5000 orders in a single week. But now they have enforced all employees to wear safety glasses which now makes the leading competitor very uncomfortable. If you were to make these glasses with OSHA recommended safety glasses you would probably in turn, get close to the same orders immediately. A low cost idea that would make good money in the manufacturing and construction industry, because safety is top priority.

Hi Kent, We will be selling additional frames on our website in the later stage, prices are being confirmed at the moment. We will announce more info on our FB & website soon Regarding the battery, you can charge one side while using the other since the Bluetooth devices can function separately. More than 50% can be charged in just 30 mins. Hope this helps! The Ossii Team

Hi Huixin, good questions! 1. We will leave it to your local licensed opticians to help you to make the lenses, this is because we believe it will be better for users and much safer. We are going to work with a multinational retailer and their stores will have our lenses, Singapore is one of the countries their stores is located in too. We will be announcing the partnership details soon. 2. You could pledge the super early set twice? Maybe pledge as a guest or with a friend's account? Hope these help! The Ossii Sound Team

I'm very interested in this campaign, but I have a few questions.
1) I am in Singapore and am wondering if prescription lenses is included? Because your set of frames and lenses has many special features, e.g. polarised, UV, coloured, etc., and if I were to go to local opticians, the lenses won't have these anymore?
2) I have pledged for the super early set, but if I were to order 2 sets, how much should I pledge? (Doesn't seem right to pledge for the $259 instead...)

I like this project, but I'm curious how much additional fronts will cost after the project is over, specifically the polarized sunglasses front. I'm super destructive on my lenses somehow and constantly have to replace them. Also the 3 hour battery life is fairly disappointing, but I understand that was likely a concession made so the bone conduction bits could be removed. Will it be possible to wear these while they're charging?

Hey Brehan! At this stage, we focus on the best possible finished product and we believe having your local optician to take care of the lens would accommodate to individual's needs better. The user can take the frame to any up to licensed optician for the prescription lenses fitting and dispensing. Moreover, we have started to line up with optical stores. We will release a collaboration list of offline stores shortly. Backers can enjoy professional service with exclusive discount. Hope this helps!

So how does this work with glasses? Will they fit over prescription glasses? Are prescription lens included or could they be added as an additional fee? If, prescription is available, is the prescription limited to a single distance, i.e, computer, near, etc? Do you have specific tint #s, ie %?
