@creator. Keep asking the same, can you tell me why pay usd40 more to have only 100grms less? I think it should be some other difference between both versions. Thanks!
Scott Cooper
Tai Wah Lin, usually you cancel your initial pledge and just place a new pledge on the carbon fiber model
that’s the most streamlined way to do it
Hope that helps
Scott Cooper
Here’s my two cents worth (deducted this from the total) how about a “FOOT” like a Snowshoe... Something that won’t “Disappear” into the Fresh Powder!!!
Worse than a “yard sale” it’s a “sinkhole”!!! I realize it impacts portability, BUT how great to “Kick Back” without sitting down!!!
Asterysk
I’m wondering if this can go as cabin baggage on flights , has this been researched ? Thx
Tai Wah Lim
My question is left unanswered - I have back more than 35 projects most answered back promptly: I want to change my pledge from the aluminum to the carbon. How do I do it? Response please.
Mark Carter
If it's not already designed as such, it would be handy if the foot could be replaced by a standard cane foot.
Edwin Diaz
How can I order 2, as it only allows for 1.
Alexandre
What's the durability of the footing? And how much would it cost to replace it?
Brandon
I had pledged for XI and the re-pledged within the 48 hrs to get the free upgrade to XII, I still will qualify correct?
malcolm jacks
Mono+Mono, thank you for answering some of our comments, keep up the good work, does it mean that Zen X 11 will be later because it is made with Carbon???
Mono+Mono
@Anthony Somarriba
For adding a second Sitpack ZEN, you will have to add more $$$ to your pledge. When the campaign is finished you will be send an email asking what you would like for all $$$. @Ricky Wright
If you used the link and bought a Sitpack ZEN XI during the 48 hours times slot -then yes, you are eligible for the upgrade. The base of Sitpack ZEN is made of a rubber material that prevents slips. We have no information about how it would perform on a paddleboard, but we would love to hear your experiences. @Realm Master K
If you participated in the competition and you bought a sitpack ZEN XI during the 48-hour time slot -then yes, you are eligible for the upgrade. @Norman Miyamoto
As I understand it, you have been lucky enough to get the Early Bird offers for both Sitpack ZEN XI and ZEN XII. If that is the case -then yes, you will get one of each Sitpack versions. At the end of the campaign you will be asked, what you would like for your dollars. Remember that there is $9 shipping for each Sitpack. @Kenny
Hi Kenny. I really do understand that it would be nice to have some comparing pictures. But unfortunately that is not possible at the moment. You are not the only one asking for the comparing pictures. We will try to make something work. @Philip Tong
Thank you!) @Brandon
If you already had bought a Sitpack ZEN XII and you changed your pledge during the 48-hour time slot, you are eligible for the upgrade @malcolm jacks
It would be great if we could deliver your new Sitpack ZEN XII for your birthday, so you can get some good hikes. But Sitpack ZEN is not design as walking stick -but we would love to hear your experiences with it. @Tsveta Koleva - Idle/Wild
You are the first to ask that question:)
Sitpack ZEN is not intended as a DIY project. But if you experience any faults with it, I would suggest to send us an email explaining what caused it to break and we can compensate you.
malcolm jacks
What about having a panic alarm built into the handle.
Tsveta Koleva - Idle/Wild
Not sure if somebody asked yet, but are there options for fix-it-yourself in case the seat or straps break with usage?
malcolm jacks
Hi, i have just pledged for one of your X11 versions, Im hopping I can also us it as a walking stick?? many thanks Malcolm Jacks. ps My birthday is in june, so hope to have it by then.
Brandon
@Sitpack - I too backed early and received email for upgrade to XII for participating in contest. I managed my existing pledge within the 48 hours to 're-back' to get the upgrade, can you confirm I'm on list for XII? Thanks
Philip Tong
Great 'Stretch' Goal on stretched seat width.
Kenny
Hey guys, how about posting some of those photos comparing the size of the original to this one? Just a quick few snaps of both closed to show the difference on your phone would be fine and take maybe 5 minutes... doesn't need to be flashy or anything. Guessing you have access to both of them and it should be doable?
Norman Miyamoto
Mono, ok I added $ 40.00 for a total of $ 158.00. I should be covered for one of each models now, correct ?
Realm Master K
@Sitpack - I'm a bit cofused as well. I was an early backer and I received the email about the free upgrade to Zen XII. I just want to confirm that I will be upgraded to Zen XII and that I won't be penalized for backing early.
Ricky Wright
Hey y'all I have a ADVENTURE WATER SPORTS Business and was thinking this might be great for STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING with a Rubber ( ? ) Base Pad for Resting , Photography , Fishing etc .......
Ricky Wright
Hi I'm an early backer am I eligible for the upgrade ? Thanks y'all !
Anthony Somarriba
How do I go about adding a second Zen to my existing order??
Meshach Weber
Great product idea. Looks amazing! (Awkward video and photos.)
Mono+Mono
@Mike, you have to send us a PM for it to be registered. Thank you for your pledge. @Javier, we are raising funds to create the tubes for the aluminium version - the tubes we have are not as the final tubes. We will update along the way when alu tubes are ready. @Alden, Thank you for the comments, we are looking into this as many have asked, unfortunately, it proves to be a quite expensive process and change, and could draw focus from the initial mission. @Brandon. Thank you for your comments, it’s a great help. @Jos, thank you for the assistance. @Norman, the 118 will give you two aluminum models, if you add 40$ to the pledge you will upgrade one of them to a Carbon version, if you add 80$ you will upgrade both. Hope that helps. Thank you @Joseph, thank you for the message. If you participated you are entitled to and upgrade. If you notify us within 48 hours as it looks like you have done :) @Christopher, the weight capacity is 300lbs. We will amend the FAQ accordingly - thank you.
Mike Sulak
Hello! I'm a Backerland member and was wondering if this qualifies for the upgrade or is something else required, please advise. Thank!
Brandon
Good luck to those participating in this new contest! Hopefully it works out for you.
Javier Moser
Hi! Can you please upload more photos to.compare both versions? I think the difference is more than the 100grs right?
Alden
@Creator: Just supported this as I felt this could also be used to for me to support (in sitting it kneeling position) one of my long telephoto lenses as it can be cradled in the seat support. Have you thought about the marketing possibility of adding a tripod mount at the top. It’s doesn’t need to have a ball head, just the tripod threads.
Desmond Ho
@Brandon
Sure!
Brandon
Desmond I really appreciate your help!
Brandon
Ok, that makes sense. Sounds like it was notification email sent out about contest. I did not receive as I was only backer and didn't buy first Sitpack from their website. I found out about contest from link on their website and the contest page said 12/10 and the emails I was sending to people from contest page said 12/10. I had no idea it was set up to end 12/11.
Desmond Ho
@Brandon
I'm not sure. How to know whether it's the referral or original email? The sender of the email is "Susana from Sitpack".
Desmond
Brandon
@Desmond - was that a referral email? I never received that one, maybe original emails sent out and referral emails were different and that's what caused the confusion?
Brandon
Thanks Desmond, that's really odd that different emails were sent out. Did all others receive emails with 12/11?
Desmond Ho
@Brandon Mine is still in the Bin folder. It reads: Date: "6 Dec " Title: "Sitpack backers are taking us to the moon - only few Early Birds offers left" Part of the content regarding the competition: "We are giving away 6 x Sitpack ZEN XII, with the total value of $1000
The competition is on- and it all ends on Monday, December 11th 2017.
- when our clock says it is 18.00 CET." Desmond
Brandon
Can others that participated in Sitpack's contest verify the referral emails and end date of competition originally showed 12/10/17 at 6pm? The email looked like this: Subject: Check out this awesome giveaway

Hi there, Check out this really awesome giveaway, I think you'll like it http://swee.ps/FhScCcCGN PS this giveaway ends at Dec 10, 2017 06:00 PM. I forwarded one I received to them to verify this fact, but they are saying the bottom always said 12/11. It may also help to forward your referral email to hello@sitpack.dk When original contest ended I was placed to win, but then it was extended to 12/11 with no explanation. Advertising contest with end date and then not honoring the top 6 place finishers at that time seems unethical to me. Thanks for your help in the matter! Brandon
Jos Janssen
118 is for 2 aluminium, 2 carbon is 198 and mixed is 158
Norman Miyamoto
Mono+mono , I ordered your double pack, but I’m not certain I pledged the right amount. I pledged 118.00 and wasn’t sure if I needed to add any extra charges for the second Sitpack yet. I originally ordered the carbon fiber model then decided to order the aluminum model too. Should l add extra payment for the aluminum one now ? Please let me know ASAP, thanks.
Christopher Sniezek
What is the user weight capacity of the chair. The FAQ mentions that both the aluminum and carbon models support the same weight/have the same strength, but fail to mention what that range is.
Joseph Nolette
Hi guys didnt win the contest but am early bird backer of X1 am i entitled to the upgrade to the X11 or did i back to early will i be automatically upgraded sorry little confused

@Tom, we are all about transparency and integrity! And we expect the same from our awesome backers, so trust us when we say, there is nothing wrong with the competition. We have to focus on the most important part, and that is making a fantastic product for your guys.
@Desmond, Superb, thank you very much.
@Tama: Perfect, you are correct. Thank you very much :)
@Kaze, Congrats - that is correct. We will upgrade you in BeckerKit fulfilment softward after.
@James, thank you for the support. Much appreciate.
@Brandon, the issue is being resolved in messages. There was no foul play in the competition.
@Tim, thanks for letting us know - for those who are entitled, we will match your email in Backerkit, and upgrade after the campaign. Thank you
@Brandon, conversation continued in messages. Thanks
Tom rodnicki
@ James, Brandon is perfectly right to make a challenge. Integrity and transparency are really important on Kickstarter and I for one hope he gets an answer which upholds those standards.
Desmond Ho
Pledged for a Sitpack ZEN XI within 48 hours upon receiving the competition email, expecting to be upgraded to a Sitpack ZEN XII for free. Thanks.
tama
Not a winner of the contest but just backed for an early bird XI through the free upgrade link.
so am i eligible for the free upgrade?
kaze892
@Mono+Mono for winners of the contest we just had to change our pledge to $1 without reward as per the email?
Just making sure I am doing it right
James Oliger
Dude chill Abit, they wanna help but they have a lot of shit going on with production.
Brandon
@Mono+Mono I messaged you here privately on the 10th and haven't heard response. I contacted support through website about same issue (7608) which has not been answered either. These are reasons I posted here. You can imagine the disappointment of being in place #6 to win at end of contest I followed daily, watching the count down, excitement of winning.. then afterwards finding out contest was extended without explanation and losing.
Tim Biggs
Hi, sorry I am still a bit confused by the contest- I didn't win but I am not sure about the upgrade bit. I am an original sitpack backer (which I love) so I already backed for an eary bird XI, does this entitle me an upgrade to the XII, or did I back too early for this? (I won't have backed in the next 48 hours). If so, is there anything I have to do, or will it happen automatically?
Brandon
Ok, thanks. I've tried contacting you about this but have been unable to get response from support.
