At Impression Pi’s core is a computer-vision powerhouse – made possible by our specially designed sensing hardware, computing unit, and advanced algorithms. 3D gesture control: The computer-vision algorithm processes the images of hands, collects information on hand movements, and generates 3D gesture modeling. The algorithm is highly optimized to perform well on mobile platform, enabling gesture control on mobile VR devices. @JPP, sorry about the frustration! Could you try force stop by pressing the power button for 30 seconds? It may take up to 2 minutes to fully reboot. Then you can open vysor to see if Empower can be found. We will have a support engineer to contact you shortly.
Impossible to have the stuff work. No way to shut it off the light always is green (pres once or twice do nothing)

I did on windows -> not connecter
Both with USB "large" connected The FAQ is a mixte of details and mission information "ADB install" ok I am not an expert on adb so adb install what ? - Sorry I am not geek enought to run all this ... So :
- I have no way to access the storage (a D drive said please insert drive ...)
- I have no way to connect to empower stuff (Vysor or Fingo)
- I have no way to turn the empower stuff off, just let it work until battery's empty Any idea on how to use it in "A dumb simple way" ... ? (Sorry guys, I am not as good as you, and it is a lot of frustration ! Many thanks for help

I didn't receive my Empower pack, yet but I'm concerned it won't be any useful in my case. At least not for a while, not in time for my goals. I backed the project because it was for both Android and iOS. In fact, my interest was entirely in iOS direction, where a marketable solution is not available from any manufacturer. In fact the campaign still describes the iPhone 6s as a supported phone and I applied for that. Yet the HW is not lightining-ready and there's no SDk for the platform, nor software examples and demos to play with.
Unfortunately my Empower is going to be a little plastic brick for a while and I wonder whether something different and mainstream will be available sooner on the market than a functional Fingo for iOS which I understand would need a HW modification. I see a tangible risk that this is turning into a huge missed opportunity.

@uSens Team, I was referring to the drastic design changes (unannounced at that) which were made to the Impression Pi's overall hardware design; these changes were introduced sometime after the concept design for the Impression Pi's Starter Package and the photo of a prototype for the Master Package were shown via the Update #42 and #50 respectively. I understand there were sacrifices needed to be made to allow the Fingo Empower, but what happened to the original intent to allow the Starter Package to be upgradable to the Empower? Why does the Empower Package's hardware design, including the side-straps which were angled in the concept design in Update #42, seems to have taken a step backwards? The method of attaching the Empower Fingo is ridiculously front-heavy, and a better, more integrated design approach, could have been taken in regards to the Impression Pi as a hardware platform (which I'll discuss in the next paragraph). I understand your company has decided to transition its efforts in developing the Impression Pi platform and hardware to work primarily on computer vision development with its Fingo product line (this is shown by the shutting down of the main website, it now re-directs you to the uSens' front page). However, as backers, we backed and supported the development of the Impression Pi, a mobile VR headset/adapter platform and product line. We did not back a one-shot mobile VR headset powered by Fingo (I say one-shot because I believe this headset is available only to backers, am I wrong in this assumption? If the Impression Pi as a product is planned to be sold to users outside of this Kickstarter project then I apologize for this assumption). I have shown a strong interest in your continued R&D in computer vision and inside-out tracking; but the product I received is not the product I backed and was promised as a supporter of the Impression Pi, not Fingo strapped to a one-shot headset, unfortunately. @Shawn, great questions! The front part of Empower pack is embedded with 2 IR cameras + 3 LED lights + 2 RGB Cameras, which enables our tracking capabilities. This part can also add hand and head tracking to Gear VR and other mobile headsets, which are still using controllers or touchpad to do all the interactions.

Can I ask what caused the hardware design change from earlier? The front-heaviness of the Empower is quite drastic, when compared to Gear VR (even when it's loaded with a Galaxy Note 5).

@Frans, Yes connecting your iPhone to the Empower pack would required a iPhone cable, but the samples won't be able to run on iPhone since our software currently only support Android and Windows. We are working on the iOS support based on our priorities and we would definitely provide a hardware upgrade once our tracking technology is compatible with iPhone. @team impression pi, good to hear that you are working on the ios support on the software side, but my question is, do i need another cable (lightning) because the micro usb won t fit ofcourse.... this is not software, its hardware!
