Thanks for the comment, Paulina. If we are not successful in this campaign, we will need to get back to the drawing board - we've already been brainstorming ways to reduce the price and improve design. Having said that, it may take time as R&D is both an expensive and time-consuming process.

I really like this concept because I have a kayak that I've only been able to use once this year due to the hassle of transportation, but the price for this is quite steep. You've done a fair job addressing the logistics of assembly, comfort, durability and performance but I'm still not sure it would be as smooth and comfortable. It appeals to me as someone interested in kayaking and other outdoor activities, but it's an expensive niche product that may not appeal to avid kayakers willing to invest in a good kayak. I'm curious what your plans are if this campaign is unsuccessful.
