At first glance, it looks like a traditional yet quirky lamp. However, there are actually five different configurations with the same lampshade. These include classic, modern, angel wing, skirt, and heart. With each configuration comes a different intensity of light ranging from 50% with the classic to 100% with the heart. Manual type has no motor, so you can change the shape with your hands into 13 steps. Please refer to the video hereunder. https://vimeo.com/164986844 As to the automatic type, it has an embedded motor and the smart LED bulb so that you can control the shape, light color, motion speed and other many function by your smart phone.
Also, with the automatic type, you can detach the lampshade from the base and apply to your existing lamp base and pendant lamp base. We hope this answer helps your understanding! :)
As to your second question, the automatic version can be controlled vis Bluetooth within the range of around 20 meter. Please be noted! :)
Can/does the automatic version be controlled remotely via wifi as well ( for obvious reasons!) or is it just via Bluetooth within the range?

Just as a final note, perhaps you could at least give the choice to your backers to choose UPS and a couple of other ways of postage although perhaps slower (regular post), however much more affordable and for sure future backers will be encouraged to fund your project. You will see an immediate rise in backing! Just consider the regular register post option on buyers risk?
