Koala Mount 2.0 – Damage-Free Universal Smartphone and Tablet Wall Mount
@Desmond C. Law I'm sorry to hear this. These were all shipped out by end of August 2016 so you definitely should have received yours by now. Shoot us an email at email@example.com com along with your current shipping address and we'll be sure you're taken care of. If you can copy this message into your email that would be helpful as well. You wanted 1 black Koala 2.0, correct? Thanks!
Hey guys I haven't received mine yet. Any updates?

I received my package now. Thanks for your follow-up..
@K - just sent you a private message.
@Creator.. Any update on my shipment?????
Hi guys. Haven't got mine yet. Is australia last to receive. Pls send me the tracking number
From Germany: Just got it yesterday; looks high qualitative so far! Thank you Koala Mount Team! Best regards
@Erik Ortega, the pricing you saw was actually a mistake on our part in our listing on Amazon, so thanks for bringing that to our attention. @Christopher Garby, thanks so much for the great feedback, it truly means a lot to us!
@erik, i beg to differ. i did a basic google search and koala mounts are 15 bucks each plus shipping. @creator, feel free to use my below review for any promotional stuff you have: Given the quality of the mounts I just got in my mailbox last night, I couldn't recommend them any more. The quality of the mounts and accessories is VERY high. Really high grade screws, drywall anchors, 3M/command strips, alcohol wipes, the rubber bumpers/pads, and the mounts themselves are all VERY high quality. Packaging is nice and simple. All in all a fantastic product. The only problem I have with them is trying to decide where to put each one, which is a great problem to have! thanks so much koala mounts!
Doing a quick search in google and i find it cheaper in amazon :(
Any updates??? Shipping dates??
My mistake. You're right that I chose white mounts and I'll just stick with that.
Erik, the white and chrome mounts are in packaging at the moment, hopefully will be completed this week. Then they will be shipped to us here and the USA and we'll start sending out to all of our backers as quickly as we can. David - you asked for 5 white mounts in your survey. If you'd like to change that, please send us a message and we'll be happy to take care of that for you. Richard - sent you a private message regarding your shipping.
Hi- Canadian backer here with an order of 5 black mounts. I know you mentioned a few weeks back that we may have to wait a little longer for outside USA orders, but I haven't heard anything yet. Any ideas on when the rest of the black mounts will be shipped?
Anybody knows the shipping date?
Have not seen anything come through. Is there a tracking number?
JayC & Aashutosh, you both had chrome or white mounts chosen in your rewards, which are still under production (see the most recent update). They should be shipping within the next 6 weeks if all goes as planned. You will receive a tracking email once your reward has shipped.
I am an early backer but have not yet received my Koala. Any update?
any updates on when will we receive the mounts? would we get a tracking number or something?
Nice fast delivery
@Christopher Garby: The plastic is 2mm thick, so it would theoretically, if set up perfectly, extend an extra 2mm beyond the edges of your device (2mm on either side), although I'd probably factor in an extra mm or 2 if your space is that tight.
i was looking for that. the only other dimension i would need is the thickness of the bracket on the outside. so how much of the 22mm is the bracket and how much is the space where the phone will rest?
@Christopher Garby: each bracket is about 22mm wide, which is just a bit wider than the width of a Command Strip. Are there any other dimensions you needed specifically?
you guys have the side dimensions on the campaign page, can you post similar front dimensions as well? i am curious to start planning out where to place them
Fastest delivery? You got it already?
Wow, you guys win the prize for the fastest ever delivery of anything I've funded on KS or IDGG. Nice job!
40 bucks away from chrome... come on!!
Steven, thanks for the kind words of encouragement and for the continued support; it means a lot to us that you are here backing us again! It's the supporters like you who have been with us since day 1 that let us know we're doing something right. We look forward to getting the Koala Mount 2.0 into your hands and hearing your thoughts on the new design!
Chris & Colby, Congratulations on another great product. Your first two (Dockem and Koala Mount 1) were amazing. I use my Dockem in my car every day! Turns my older car into a much higher tech one using my phone for media and GPS right on the front console. I cant wait to get the next version, it looks like you guys did some great engineering to come up with another solid product!
I would like to see chrome :)
Congrats for reaching the goal! I would love to see WHITE as next stretch goal, and to be able to opt for it.
congrats on being funded
Roger, The small production run is actually already under way. We've already gotten final production quality samples (from the final, finished mold) which we've approved (and which are the ones shown in the photos/video). We simply wanted to do a small production run so we could get started using the funds we already have so that we would have that as a reward for being an early backer. We're 99% sure there will be no problems with the first small production run and the early bird units will be no different in quality from the bulk run. That said, as you mentioned, stuff happens and anything is possible. I can assure you, however, that if any issues were to arise with the small production run, we would absolutely be transparent about it and would give you the choice to take the early run or the later ones. Regarding working in a moving vehicle, if you are able to figure out a way to mount the brackets securely and as long as you're not doing any sort of crazy stunts or bumps in your car, they should work great. We've actually had people set up the original Koala Mount in their car and reported that working well, and this version has an even tighter hold with the spacer pads, so it should work even better. In fact, here are some reviews from people who have used the original Koala Mount in their car: http://www.amazon.com/Damage-free-Dockem-Tablets-Smartphones-eReaders/product-reviews/B008E0Q0C0/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_viewopt_kywd… I would recommend that if you live in a location where temperatures in your car can get above 105 degrees Fahrenheit, you might want to consider a different adhesive designed for higher temp locations. A thicker 3M VHB tape would probably do the job nicely. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to reach out, and thanks for the support! Best,
How will the units from the "first small sample production run" differ from later units from regular production runs? Will there be any difference? If there's a problem with that first run (unlikely, given your past record, but stuff happens...) will you scrap them and send out later ones? Also, assuming the mounting is solid, do you think these would work in a moving vehicle? Thanks!
Thanks Chris, we appreciate the support!
backer #35, comment #1. very excited! good product, very reasonable goal. well done!
