LaCie Porsche Design Desktop USB-C Drive For Next-Gen Computers

Another new entry at CES 2016 is the LaCie Porsche Design Desktop USB-C Drive which is basically a USB-C desktop hard drive that connects to and powers USB-C devices – primarily the new MacBook. The drive comes with a single USB-C port and a power port and allows your laptop to be charged even when it is connected to the drive. There is a USB 3.0 adapter which can work with PC or Mac. To top it up is the sleek aluminum enclosure. It’s designed to work with any computer — the one you own and the one you might have on your wish list. Again, the fast transfer speeds of 5 Gb/s speeds will let you drag and drop files and perform backups quickly. Simply put, it’s a lot more than data storage.
