I’m an international backer, where are the gloves I ordered? Why have I not been notified if there’s a problem? Can you respond?

Select the Campaign tab, scroll to the bottom, select the 'Report to ... Kickstarter' button, then report this as a fraud under the 'post-funding issue' category. At least we can hopefully get this guy banned so he can't create any future projects to rip people off.

I’ve emailed the email address on the Facebook group quite some time ago and no reply, as has be reiterated by others can we have an update for international backers please?

Also how about an update on the light charging socket problem? This is the third time I have asked about it with no reply. I am getting frustrated with the lack of communication.

Cade, we need an update on what has shipped and what hasn't. Some people were receiving gloves in late December. It's almost mid-February and others haven't received theirs yet. Nobody knows what has shipped, or where to. What's going on with the shipments?!?

Any word on what is going to be done about the lights that have the recharge port problems?
I would really like to know.

I like the gloves a lot. I haven't put them through to much as I go through a pair of gloves every other month so I only put these on when I need the light. I'm having a similar issue with the charging port it keeps falling into the case and I have to get tweezers to pull it back out. Usually it will stay but it feels like it's getting worse every time I go to charge. I would be willing to pay for an upgraded light if that were to be created to fix this issue.

One of the pairs I ordered and received (I like them and think they are great). Has also had the charging port shoved in and now not able to be recharged. Please let me know how to fix this or if you are sending out replacements.
Thanks

Same problem with two of my lights. The small receptacle is rattling around inside the case. I can't figure out a way to safely open the case. One of the lights was delivered that way, the second fell in when I tried to plug in the recharging cord.

@Gigi, I had one that must already been pushed in. It's missing completly but something is rattling around inside the housing so I'm assuming that's it. I emailed Cade and awaiting a response.

Got the gloves. First impression they are well made and comfortable. I will be using them for work so we will see how they hold up. Great product!

Received mine in the mail yesterday. Look good. Got 2 pr. 1 small and 1 medium. Medium better for my hands.
FYI: I tried to charge one of the lights, and the micro-USB receptacle shoved into the housing. How do I go about getting a replacement?
I’m sure it’s user error, but wanted to warn folks to be gentle when plugging the lights in to charge.
Gigi.

Got the gloves, everything is great. Fraud? Lol. Not all projects are bad. Everyone wants everything yesterday. Great job!

Came in the mail today. Tried the large gloves, to be sure they fit. Like a glove!! And when I tried to carefully pull them off, heard a pop and discovered a seam broke. Right where the thumb meets the wrist.

I got the same response via email. @Creator
As mentioned before, it would better serve you to post here instead of or in addition to directly emailing backers.

Review from Kickstarter
Here's the direct response I received, just so other know what's apparently going on. I just want to note that while you (Cade) might prefer email, you're using Kickstarter for the project, so that must be your primary communications platform. That where your backers are, after all. ----- Hi Lyndon, I check and respond but via email.. I just think it more personal and well easier to follow along as well. I understand the frustration too. I am not happy and it has been a bad look. I had to order 5,000 to start and well I lost the holiday season so I am really just defeated. The one positive is well... Lights passed through customs here in the US for me and got delivered to the store 2 weeks ago 12/1... finally...yay for that! Gloves are right behind or should be, I think because the gloves are more boxes and not individually wrapped like the lights they were to take a few extra days, I don't know. I did get today 12/15 that the gloves were released and they will be delivered to the store on Tuesday 12/19 I do feel better now knowing they are in the states and I have possession of half. I attached the pictures I have. These turned out great I will at least say that...but wow months on end. No words to describe it. I learned about dealing with China, their holiday schedule which is crazy and they just expect everyone to know.. It has been a lot. I will probably start printing out labels and sending tracking later this weekendsince that might take a little time. Finally :) Thank you again esp for the patience. The kindness and patience really does go a long way.

His bio page says he last logged in today (Dec 14), so there's no way he can't know there are comments waiting. Is it time to report this to Kickstarter as a fraud?

Must be too busy with beer golf or whatever the hell it is. He ran that Kickstarter right AFTER this one and had a lot of problems there too. Looks like some people are getting those rewards before we even get anything. That is NOT an honest way to do things.

Hi all I am not big on the comment section i don't know why. but I do respond to everyone i just prefer emailing direct, it seems more personal to me. But i realize people do glance through the comments and may not know unless they comment that i do respond to everyone. I actually got the final news from the freight forwarder today. In all honesty this was a difficult learning experience that a week ago literally had me in tears. The glove manufacturer was on point even after the red dye incident, but they have the gloves on the way. The light maker is the one that had more issues and the 3 weeks China has a country takes off really killed me. The light manufacturer then had an issue with actually getting them to me, but today finally I got a US freight forwarder to handle all the logistics they were having issues with. I was waiting for them to give me the tracking numbers and then I was going to post it as an update for everyone to follow along if they choose. I am just glad that they are coming I was scared that they might have tried to take my deposit etc etc, but it was just learning and well just different when you are dealing with China and not locally. I am just over joyed they are coming even if late. It is embarrassing ad at times felt helpless, but it looks like all is going to be ok. They did turn out nice. They are to hit NY via freight forwarder on the 18th Nov and then be in SC where I am on the 20th. Since they are prepacked all I have to do is print out the label and drop them in the boxes. Thank you again-I am always around. When I do get all the tracking info I am going to update blast. I did post some of the pictures of what they sent on Facebook and I can email them too and can show the B/L.. But I will post the tracking numbers when they provide them to me.

I agree 100%. Kickstarter needs to clamp down. It is getting way out of hand. Too many scams and fraud “creators” ripping people off. I can only hope this project isn’t one of them.

Comments and updates were good at the beginning of this campaign, now all gone silent? And behind schedule according to the campaign description, too many campaigns are like this at the mo, think Kickstarter have to start tightening up, getting a bit ridiculous??

It's not clear to me what the differences are between the Utility and Work versions of the gloves. I can't find anything that details the pros and cons of each model, or highlights the differences in detail. It's hard to glean this info just from the pictures. My main use for these will be on the boat, both sailing and doing maintenance. I'm really confused about which of the two (utility vs. work) would be better. Help?!?

Will these run smaller or larger than average? I ask because it seems most gloves out there do not adhere to any standardized sizing system making some same sizes way different in fit.

Hey Theo, I did message you, but a brief summary. The site is based off of Shopify and Shopify is a Canadian company and the domain is from GoDaddy which uses AZ as there holding spot. I am in SC along with the store, the store has been here since the 1950's. Also, I have US and overseas suppliers and have tested them both for quality and logistics. It will just come down to the numbers and how much I can raise. Thank you again for backing :) that means a lot to me. All my best- Cade

I was surprised when I checked out your site, which is under 4 months old, to find it is based in Canada. There's a logistical reason for this? https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/tacticallites.com

Hello Cade. Now this might be a sensitive issue for some, but the question has to be asked: Are the gloves to be made in the USA? Are the electronics from China? It's important not only from the viewpoint of those who want to encourage manufacturing in the US but also because a US-based factory would make it easier for you to monitor and control quality.
