Lenovo Smart Display 7 Google Assistant Hub takes privacy up a notch

Editor's Rating
4.8/5?

The Lenovo Smart Display 7 Google Assistant Hub does just what it says on the label. It’s a smart display with Google Assistant built-in, giving you full access to anything you could need. Putting the 7-inch touchscreen display on top, the speaker of this upgraded device has moved to the bottom. With access to Google Assistant, you can use this hub to manage your smart devices, check the weather, view your schedule, and so much more. Unlike the Nest Hub, its direct competitor, the Smart Display 7 comes with a built-in 2MP camera. It uses an ambient light sensor to capture better images. For those with privacy in mind, the Smart Display 7 features the TrueBlock Privacy Shutter. This lets you physically block the camera. Likewise, there’s a manual mute button so you can also shut off access to the mic whenever you want.
