Mishmi Takin – Get Wet, Stay Dry

Editor's Rating

While delivering life-saving medicines to remote communities in Liberia, West Africa and in Eastern Himalayas, India, Kapil Dev Singh realized that his high-end, waterproof gear was not performing in the hot & humid tropical conditions. The gear did not breathe and kept Kapil sweaty all the time. Challenged by the discomfort and inspired by the zest for life he saw in these communities, Kapil started an outdoor brand with gear so breathable that it could work even in the tropics and who would promote health & well-being in remote communities worldwide. Mishmi Takin products focus on enhanced user comfort by maximizing air exchange between the inside of the gear and the outside. Ventilation-focused product design, highly breathable, air permeable fabrics, and Vibram Megagrip rubber, give our Footwear, Hard Shell and Soft Shell Jackets the power to keep you comfortable in hot, cold, humid, soggy, or any WET conditions … yes, even SWEATY conditions. Since our products breathe better in extremely challenging, rainy and humid tropical environments, that means they OUT-PERFORM in other more temperate or dry environments. This makes our products ideal for: Camping, Adventure Travel, Hiking, Mountaineering, and Urban Exploration.
