I bought and got 3 lenses front this kickstarter event :
- wide lens, an excellent lens
- Tele Lens, I do not know why photos taken are not sharp, anyone having the same issue ?
- macro lens, have not tried it yet. Any sharing from kickstarters ?

Just popped in here to say I really, REALLY wish you guys would put the battery charging switch back on the widget and 3D touch menu. Opening the app just to turn on charging blows. Other than that, it's great!

Solved! The native camera app uses a dual lens system, especially in darker situations. When using a third party app like ProCamera you can manually choose the lens and then you can use the Moment tele lens V2 with the iPhone telelens.

How does the tele lens work on iPhone 7 Plus or 8 Plus telephotolens? I've got an iPhone 6, and tried my tele lens V2 on a Photocase on iPhone 7 Plus of a colleague of mine (who only has the Super Fish V2), but when switching to the telelens we only got a black screen with white spots. When removing the lens the view was fine. It did work fine on the normal (non tele) lens.
Also, on the Moment website I can't find anything about using a Moment tele lens V2 on Plus models or iPhone X.

Hi guys, anyone with the i7+ battery case is having hard time to pull the phone out from the case or is it just me? The case and lens are really great but I’m having difficulty to pull it out from the case. Moment team told me this is normal and it will wear overtime. But I have been using it frequently and pulling it out for few times now however it still doesn’t wear out. Do let me know if you guys have a fix for this. Thank you.

I got the 3 lens pack some time ago
And only got a chance to use the wide lens in my holiday trip last week.
I am quite happy with the wide lens paring with my iPhone 7 Plus.
The photo took are amazing.
Also the case is very good looking and sturdy.
I once accidentally drop my phone with the case (but without the lens on) about 4 feet from the ground, the phone and the case survived, and without any noticeable scratch. One thing to note is the lens, when facing strong light would have internal reflections which gives a patch to the areas close to the corners. But I guess all lens have that, so not so much of an issue.

I had time to switch to a pixel 2 before even getting my case for my old iphone 6.. I'll get my lenses 6 months after the initial delivery date, and no case to attach them too.
I've been a customer for a year, and I love you Moment. I was able to capture so many nice moments during my backpacking trip in Asia thanks to you. Your products are reliable and give you a range of options and quality that is possibly the best out there fir mobile photography. So please don't make an experience such as pure customer service, be let down.

I guess they have left their customer service behind.
When it all started, i thought i would be a life time Moment user. I was so excited and happy when I got my products for the 6s.
When I got a 7, bought a battery case, and that's where it all went down hill. I was charged $41 USD for something local (I now live in Hong Kong) that weighs less than a pound. Here's a direct quote when I emailed the CS team @ Moment.
"Shipping charge is $17USD a kg." Which in turn is 2.2lbs I can understand if the shipment came from the US and I would have gladly paid $17. Now knowing the packing is less than a pound and is shipped locally from a place that's a 20min drive from me and was charged $41, this is absurd and there's more than a bad taste in my mouth. Thank you for all the previous support. But this has done it for me And since this email, I have had received no reply.

Have you tried to reset the case?
You’d have to press the little recessed button inside the case. The iPhone tool for releasing the sim tray works great for this.
I have an 8+ too and it works fine with the latest app update.
You’ll probably have to update the case firmware too, once it connects properly.

@Hsu I am live in Taiwan too, the battery case unable ship to Taiwan.

Pixel backer. Used original moment lenses with my old Samsung note and upgraded to pixel because moment was going to support pixel. Unfortunately I feel like the pixel comparability is actually a bit of an afterthought and the lenses are clearly designed for iPhone. The new wide lens is great on the pixel. The macro, not as impressive as it was on Samsung note. The tele and superfish is a stretch to sell them as being compatible with the pixel, and I sunny think they should really have been be marketed as such. I note that there is a mention in the marketing literature that the superfish edge and vignette is clearly visible on the pixel, and I didn't notice this before ordering. The tele, however, is completely blurry towards the edges and not really usable. I probably wouldn't have upgraded to the Google Pixel if I had known this was going to be the case. Wide does look amazing though, but it's really the other three lenses that I used to use the most.

@Dax - have the same problem, emailed Moment directly. They say it’s because the 8+ is different from the 7+ but they are working on an update (hopefully by next week) that will fix that. Guess that shows that going for the 8+ is an upgrade, definitely different hardware :)

I am the same Joshua and I suspect you are right that there are some very happy people over there right now. I have a sinking feeling that we are going to get screwed over by Moment as they don't seem to want to communicate about this issue at all. My emails to their support address are ignored now and they don't seem to want to touch the forum here either. :-(

You say to use the hello@shopmoment.com email address for as you put it "better and more frequent updates on tracking pages" but I have been using that address and it is taking three days to get a reply from you guys. You are almost as slow as the packages coming from China, of which mine was scanned thru Hong Kong on 1st Sept and has been locked in the international processing centre since the 16th. Your website says ten working days for international delivery. I have been trying to get an explanation by email as to what is going on and all I get is a cold shoulder. So now I have to take it to a public forum. What is happening with the delivery of our pledges? Are you just going to ditch us because there is no obligation to fulfil the pledge anyway?

Good news! We have confirmed that our cases do work with the new devices and optics are on par with our high-quality standards. So you can keep using your current gear if you upgrade to those devices. The 7/7Plus Battery Cases will not support wireless charging on the iPhone 8/8Plus.

We're excited about Apple's newest flagship phone and can't wait to get one in our hands to test out when they are shipped in November.
