Hello,
I receive my filter before a few days. But I am wonder how i can change Activated Carbon from the container when it is need? $12 + shipping + vat will be too much only for a handful Activated Carbon.

Thanks MUV team! I received my filter some time ago but haven't got around to posting. For future improvements I would suggest a better system to store/organize the various parts. I think that would help with not losing parts and make using the filter much simpler. Also the packaging was really difficult to get into without knives/scissors. The consumer's first experience is when they first open it up so consumer friendly packaging and presentation makes for a better first experience. Keep up the great work and best of luck!

Just got mine yesterday. Fit and finish was good. Product feels good in my hand, have yet to test it in actual conditions though. Some feedback:
1. Instruction manual - I see some people have come across the flow of text to be quite confusing. No biggie, but can be improved.
2. The word "whole" instead of "hole".
3. If you guys could include a manual drill bit piece for making the hole for the bucket adapter that would be great (look at Sawyer's bucket adapter kit)
4. Colour coding the Out parts sounds good as well! Questions:
1. Would the hose be the same diameter as standard hydration tubes from Camelbak or Hydrapak?
2. Look at providing quick release/poplock adapters for hyration tubes as well Thanks Daniel and team for a well designed and well executed product! It was worth the wait :)

Hey Daniel,
I received the Backcountry pledge with zero issues. However I would like to point out that the orange "Get Yours Now" button on your Kickstarter page (at this link: https://tinyurl.com/y85tkvse) contains a hyperlink to a missing page (https://renovowater.com/muv/), which makes it hard for people to find your site.
Have a good day!

@John Wetton The internal hose diameter is 6mm and you should be able to find it easily at most home improvement stores. Replacement pre-filters will be avalable at renovowater.com shortly.

Hi, just got my reward. Looks great. Couple of quick questions, can you let me know what the internal diameter of the hose is please, and how easy is to go get (and how often do you suggest changing) the little pre-filters? Finally, what email address do you want using for feedback?

Ok, I received my package today. Unfortunately, German customs didn`t accept your declaration. I had to pay additional fees and they where calculated on the “estimated retail price” as I couldn`t find my credit card payment from 2016 :( So it cost me additional 32€, around 38$).

The Tote bag really needs to be relooked at.. Like some sort of thumb platform on the hard plastic connector housing so the thumb can assist in connecting the hose when the the bag is wet. After a Thanksgiving camping trip to test this out, the bag is unmanageable when wet. The folding rolling top closer also could have been relooked at also.

Daniel, how do I get the problem with my filter addressed? A response would be greatly appreciated.
Sandy
Review from Kickstarter
Awesome product, thank you! For a future thought, it would be great if one of the plastic hose adapters came in a blue plastic color... to help quickly identify the clean side/or clean adapter piece.
BTW, is the collapsible water bottle also BPA free?

I received mine today and it appears to be defective. The friction fit pieces into which the filter pieces are supposed to twist into and lock keep falling out. Thus when I twist a filtet section in to that piece it just falls out and won't stay together. Has anyone else experienced this? Daniel. Please let me know if there is a fix for this. Thank you.

The pinch tube clamps... Why not actual valves?
And does this filter Fluoride? its been so long I can't remember if that question was answered.

Got mine today. havent really played with it yet. like someone else said, biggest complaint is the way the directions are folded causes you to jump around. (i'll take that as a problem anytime lol) looks awesome and impressive so far.

Got mine today and it looks and feels great. Nice quality.
I have the survivalist and the instructions are slightly confusing.
Maybe you guy should make an instructional vid? Overall real happy and can't wait to drink filthy water with this thing.

Review from Kickstarter
I got mine today. I backed the survivalist and everything seems great at unboxing, but the instruction sheet is little confusing. The way it was folded caused a jump from instructions about the pump use to the middle of instructions about in-line use. Once I realized how the text flowed it all made sense. Our initial comments were that the fittings for clean water could be blue to match the hose (the Out+28 fitting) I plan to see about ordering another set of input and output fittings to use as storage end caps for keeping unused sections clean and a couple of extra MUV1s. I hope to take it out and test it Sunday.
