The Nest Thermostat smart temperature control is 2020’s latest version and comes with a cheaper price tag than previous Nest models. It’s also much simpler to operate and doesn’t automatically learn your living circumstances. The upside of this is that it runs off of a traditional schedule system where you notify it if you’re home, on vacation, etc. This way, it’s a great introduction to those upgrading to smart gadgets. However, it still has plenty of features to offer. For example, it has a built-in voice assistant so you can control it via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The Nest Thermostat will notify you when it’s time to change the air filter. It’ll even let you know if there are issues with your HVAC system. Overall, Google estimates that you’ll save between 10% and 12% on heating and 15% on cooling bills annually.
