BADDY Open Source Badminton Robot

Editor's Rating

Serve up some fun when you have the BADDY Open Source Badminton Robot. This open source device automatically serves during your games. In fact, it’ll make everyone love badminton, even if they’ve never played before. It’s made for all players of any skill level and it can help you improve your skills. BADDY works with a companion app which lets you control the entire system. The app allows you to define a playing sequence and loop for as long as you’d like. Or, to keep you on your toes, you can have a random playing sequence. With nine different directions, you’ll always be improving. Inside BADDY is the latest technology. A retainer holds the shuttlecock on deck while two rotating discs launch the shuttlecocks left and right. The plans and source code are shareable and accessible so you can actually make your own. In fact, the setup can take as little as one minute.
