PlayDate – World’s First Pet Camera in a Smart Ball

Introducing PlayDate, the world’s first truly interactive pet camera. Playdate lets you play with your dog or cat from anywhere in the world, via their smart ball and mobile app combo. Use the camera on the ball to see your pets as well as the environment around them. You can control PlayDate’s smart ball remotely from your iOS or Android device after downloading the free app from the App Store or Google Play. Durability has been a top concern from the beginning. That’s why the team has built the outer shell out of thick, shatterproof polycarbonate (similar to what treat dispensers for dogs are made of) so you know it will last. And you can replace them over time, prolonging the life of the smart ball. Similar to a hamster ball, the PlayDate smart ball rolls around wherever you direct it. There is a navigation controller on the left. On the right, some buttons trigger actions like playing a “squeak” or taking a picture/recording video. A stabilized camera inside lets you see all the action in smooth, real-time HD. And, a clear, replaceable outer shell protects the inner workings but allows the camera to see out clearly. Wouldn’t it be fun to enjoy playing with your pets this way?

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
