PLOOTA Sensor-Controlled Swimming Safety Device

If you ever find yourself in trouble in open water, the PLOOTA Sensor-Controlled Swimming Safety Device can save your life. This flotation aid inflates automatically when it senses trouble, keeping your head above the water. You wear it around your neck, and it normally stays out of the way, whether you are swimming or surfing. In an emergency, two hidden airbags inflate instantly to keep you afloat. It works even if you are unconscious or panicking. In addition to the sensors, the user can manually trigger the floats if they are running out of energy. The lightweight design is great for novice swimmers and pros alike, and you can use the device for pretty much any water sport. Given that 372,000 people drown every year, this device could save a lot of lives.

I just love the commercial with the mother saying she can let her kids go swimming without supervision, real parenting there and I hope Ploota has lots of insurance.
