Yes The Smoldering King! The pots are here :) I have started the process of putting together the kits and getting them ready to ship out. I have about 60 packages ready to ship out tomorrow morning and I should have all of them ready by Friday.

Hey Kyle. I just received word that the shipment will arrive the first or second week on May. Again, I apologize for the delay in shipment.

Good question Kyle. I just reached out to my shipping company. I should receive a response in the next day or so on a more solid date when the pots should arrive. I will post a comment here as soon as I know.

Any updates on the shipping date? I am moving out of state at the end of this month and kinda need to know if they will ship this month or arrive next month to update my address.

Kollyn, Thanks you for your prompt reply. Please understand it is not my intention to be confrontational. I guess I'm still unclear as to why it took 2 weeks to "Double Check" and find out the pots had not been shipped. I have had experience with importing goods from China and you have to be on top of them like "white on rice" (excuse the pun). A "DOCUMENTED" shipping confirmation is not that difficult to get and until you have one in hand I would not relent (experience). That being said, I do understand that shipping "specifically" from China can be difficult, mostly due to the language barrier. A photo of the factory loading the pots into the container is great! (and a typical ploy they use) However, a photo whether it is 2 weeks old or was taken today means nothing. The real questions is, when will they ship? I look forward to your Kickstarter Update and getting these kits in hand. Good Luck!
Respectfully,
Dave T.

Dave thank you so much for the question. I thought the pots had been shipped out. It wasnt until I double checked with my shipping company that I found out they had not been shipped out. It was more than the Chinese holiday that the shipment was delayed. Once again I am sorry about this. If you know anything about international freight shipping it is very confusing. This is my first time dealing with international shipping so please forgive me. I have received a photo of the factory is China loading the pots into the container and I will attach that in a Kickstarter update.

Kollyn, Lets see...pots were shipping out of China on Tuesday the 21st. No update to backers until Dean asked when to expect the product. And then, to be told there was a mix up with the shipping company on the payment and the pots have not left China as of the 5th of April??? When did you find out the pots were still in China? You didn't know this until 5 days ago? In other words it took 2 week for you to find out they have not shipped? Was this a 2 week long Chinese Holiday? Hmmm! At what point do you return everyones money and call this project a FAILURE. As for me I will wait 2 more days for a valid response before I contact my bank and dispute the charge. I look forward to your response. Good Communication from you would have avoided this frustrating inquiry.

Dean. That you so much for the question. I just heard back from the shipping company and there was a mix up in the shipping company on the payment and then there was a Chinese holiday I did not know about. Because of this the stainless steel pots still have not left China. I am so sorry about this. I promise they will arrive and you will get your product. The pots have been paid for and manufactured. I really apologize for this everyone.

Any updates on when to expect the stoves?

Hey Doug, the stainless steel pots shipped out of China today. It will still be a few weeks until they arrive and I am able to start shipping them out directly to you but it will be the very first thing I do when they arrive. Thanks for the question.

So did they ship out yesterday? Also will we get a shipping confirmation email to track the package?
Kollyn From QuickStove
Review from Kickstarter
Nathan, yes I am planing on sending them in the same package. Depending on how many Cook Kit you purchased though, I might have to send them in different packages but I will be sending the stove, fire starters / fuel disks, and pot all in the same package.

Review from Kickstarter
Is it possible to get them in one package. Sending them separate a week and a half apart seems like s waste of money, but does explain the high shipping cost.

I still have not received a survey

Review from Kickstarter
Jesse, thank you very much for the question. I just sent out the survey yesterday. Let me know if you did not receive it yesterday. To let you know, the stainless steel pots are shipping out this Tuesday and you should receive your cook kit in the beginning of April :) Let me know if you have any other questions.

Have surveys gone out yet? There appears to be no updates on this project since it ended.

Correction...
My Trangia Mess tin is a 209, not the smaller 210.
I may pick up your stove later, if I find a mess tin suitable for it.

I wish that the shipping wasn't so horrible.... $100 across the pond.
Because that stove looks nice.
Did you consider a squarish or rectangular pot, similar to the trangia 210 mess tin?
(I use one of those together with an Esbit burner sometimes. Stores the burner, cubes, matches, teabags, sugar and everything else needed for a good cup of tea on a cold day)
Those 'Firestarters' look familiar. I believe I have a whole crate of those.
I don't use them often, but when I do, they never fail to light on the first try. Good stuff.

I believe that is correct Corey. The original was the stove and fuel, they have added the pot and if you get Deluxe, then the extras. Great price point to try it out and the stove alone is worth the price of admission.

Doug, go ahead and pledge $5 more and I'll throw in the sticker! Thanks.

Ah ok, thank you for the response. So now I must pledge $5 more. Or could you skip the flashlight and give me a sticker instead? No problem eather way.

Only the $5 pledge gets the sticker. Thanks for asking.

We currently have the stove being manufactured but we need the money to help with the order of custom stainless steel pots. The factory requires a large minimum order quantity and we are having a hard time coming up with the money. If the project is successfully funded, we will have enough money.
