riimo converts your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into an IR-beaming universal remote control. This 3.5mm dongle supports all the IR remote control enabled devices and comes with a working range of up to 15 meters. It is compatible with the IR function of most iOS and Android smartphones. With this single plug-in Infrared (IR) adapter, you can enable your Apple device to beam out a near-limitless array of IR commands. All that’s needed is the 3.5mm dongle, the latest iPhone OS, and the free riimo Apps. Once you set it up, you can use it to control your TV, AV receiver, Blu-ray player and whatever else is lucky enough to be in your home theater rack that supports IR dictation. Better still, the app allows users to customize the way they control their gear, with full multitouch and accelerometer support complementing the ability to add (soft) macro buttons. The riimo IR transmitter plugs into the 3.5mm headphone jack of your phone or tablet, and works with the iR Universal Remote Control app. Because the transmitter is attached to your phone, you do need line-of-sight from your phone to the device you want to control.

Got it
Works with select phones even android phones they don't have an app for. I have 10 of them, now I only use them for keeping dust out of my ear phone back.
This was a complete con & they have high jacked the software for it using RemoteMaster as the app in the promo vids,I can't see how you'd rate it 5 stars unless you've physically used it & it did work with all your tech but it's one of the worst things I backed & there's still no rimo app yet they state it's in the box lol do you stick it on they can't even refund without that going wrong, very disappointing & feel a bit sorry for the makers of remote master having their app stolen!0 stars from me...btw it went from iOS to both aOS too raising 160k doubt they'll be any happy backers when they find the apps not there-hope remote master sue riimo too! Rant over do you rate on just seeing or did you have a prototype to test?
For iOS devices only!
