I am a gadget junkie, and for my guitars, this is the most awesome product that I have purchased in years. I always wanted a 12 string, but the thought of tuning it made me not get one. Thanks to the ease of tuning with Roadie 2, I am in the market for one. Thanks for a great, well designed, kick a@# product. Can't wait for my Roadie Bass. Keep up the great work!
Band Industries
@Jim Such a bummer! I will reach out via PM to get you sorted out.
Jim Zorn
I finally got my roadie 2 today, and it works great on my cheap banjo, but my good banjo tuning pegs are too big for it unfortunately.
Band Industries
@Baramon It is still a work in progress. We are working really hard to fix bugs and release features and working by priority to make sure we get everything right for you guys. Thanks for your patience as we work to meet your expectations on all the features.
Baramon
Any news when tuneup feature will be fixed?
Band Industries
@Clive such a bummer but I am reaching out via PM to get you sorted out.
Clive KY Chan
I can’t switch on the Roadie no matter how hard I press the button. What can I do?
Band Industries
@Jason Thanks for the boost! Glad to know we came through for you. Have fun with your Roadie 2:)
Jason Mercurio
Best product!!! Your team is amazing!!! Thanks for making something so perfect!! A+++++
Band Industries
@Stéphane I am sending you your tracking information and more details via PM.
@Rod Thanks for your amazing support and presence! Keep it up :)
Rod "BaKhan" Mitchell
@Stephane, check out update 15 from December 15th. If you don't have yours yet, and have filled out your survey correctly, I would contact them directly as you probably should have had it by now.
Stéphane HUBERT
Hi creator, My request concerned only Roadie 2, do you have information?
thank you
Band Industries
@Stéphane Roadie Bass will ship in March. Production started but we're facing a delay due to the Chinese New Year festivities. Check our Kickstarter updates for more Roadie Bass details.
Stéphane HUBERT
Hi creators, I would like to know when you'll give us any information about Roadie and when do you start to send them
Band Industries
@Thomas Sorry for the inconvenience! I will reach out via PM to get you sorted out.
Thomas Koch
Hey Band Industries, so far I‘ve been very happy with my Roadie2. But when I tried to tun it on today I had to press the button really hard. I don‘t get any haptical feedback from the button, it seems to be mechanically stuck. I can‘t select a single item from the menu or shut the Roadie2 off. Any idea how to fix that?
Band Industries
@Carmine We've been sending out information about Roadie Bass in our Kickstarter updates. As per the last update, Roadie Bass is expected to ship in March. Please check the update for more details.
Carmine Napoli
Hi creators, I would like to know when you'll give us any information about Roadie Bass and when do you start to send them
Band Industries
@Jim Yes apologies again for the confusion. Gladly everything is sorted out now and your Roadie 2 is on its way to you.
Jim Zorn
I figured it was different people, but the email said to do it via kickstarter, so that's why I did it via kickstarter. Thank you for getting it shipped.
Band Industries
@Jim I see. You know different people handle email and Kickstarter communication and that's where the confusion happened. Wish you had replied to the email directly but it's all good now. I can confirm that we are reshipping another Roadie right away to the correct address you just provided via PM. Thanks again for your patience and apologies for the long delay!
Jim Zorn
I did reply on November 28th via PM.
Band Industries
@Jim After doing some research with the logistics team, it looks like they sent you an email inquiring about your address but you never replied. They had to ship your Roadie with the address they had on record which they thought would eventually cause an issue in delivery. Sorry about the delay. I will send you the email details via PM. Please send over your shipping address and make sure it's not a P.O box.
Jim Zorn
I understand that things happen, but 2 months since "2017/11/21 12:18:35 SHENZHEN SHIPMENT ARRIVED AT FACILITY" is excessive. And when you wrote "We will definitely have an answer for you by tomorrow at most and in case your parcel hasn't moved or is returned we will send another Roadie 2 your way ASAP." on January 5th, and then there is nothing for 20 days, can you blame me for thinking you forgot?
Band Industries
@Jim I promise we didn't forget about you! As many backers around the world know already, dealing with shipping carriers is a hassle and it's such a process that we at Band Industries have no control over. However, I have escalated the issue to our direct contact with the carrier and will definitely send you an update via PM today. We will take the necessary actions to make sure your wait won't be long anymore including shipping another unit your way today. Thanks for your patience and expect a message shortly.
Jim Zorn
Do I seriously not have an update yet on why package hasn't moved at all? Or did you forget again? I don't know which is worse, but either way this is ridiculous.
Band Industries
@Kenneth Such a bummer but there wasn't much we could do with the carrier. We hope you're enjoying your Roadie and please don't hesitate to reach out for any questions or assistance.
Kenneth B Leung
Hi Creator, it's almost 2 months since I received the roadie2. just wonder if there is any update on the extra delivery fee in HK? Thanks
Band Industries
@Donaldhui As per my reply to your message and our latest update, Roadie Bass is expected to ship in March.
donaldhui
This's backer 4,426 and I have filled in my survey but haven't received my Roadie Bass. Please follow up. Tks.
Band Industries
@Jason Wow! Thanks for putting the word out there about Roadie. Hope all your friends like it as much as you do :)
@Scott Such a bummer! Looks like your unit is defective. I will get you going on a replacement and will reach out via PM shortly with more details.
Scott Robertson
The button no longer works on my Roadie. What should I do?
Jason Mercurio
Excited to say I’ve had three friends just buy a Roadie 2 after using mine. This tuner is incredible!!! Everyone should have one!!!
Band Industries
@Laszlo Such a bummer. We are constantly tackling tuning errors and trying to make the tuning experience more seamless. I will reach via PM to get more details from you and assist you in getting to an error free tuning experience.
@Baramon Our technical is working on the tune up feature. Stay tuned for a firmware update that will tackle this soon.
Baramon
Any news on firware update to improve tuneup feature?
Laszlo Benke
As @Jeffrey told before i have the same issue, if i have more than one instrument defined on Roadie app, Roadie told me that i'm tuning the wrong string. Actually i have three tunings with my classical guitar (E2-A2-D3-F3#-B3-E4, E2-A2-D3-G3-B3-E4, D2-A2-D3-G3-B3-E4), and i usually using the second and the 3rd tuning. If the second tuning is failed, i switch to the first tuning to tune E2, and switch back to second tuning to tune the other strings. I have this workaround for the problem. I have the latest firmware on my Roadie.
Band Industries
@Liam Roadie Bass has the same speed as Roadie 2 when tuning those instruments.
@Kelsey I am bringing this to logistics attention. I will reach out via PM as soon as I have an update.
@Jeffrey Looks like you got a defective Roadie. I will reach out via PM to get you started on a replacement unit. Let's see if you still face the same tuning error with your replacement and we'll assist you in getting rid of that once you receive it.
Jeffrey Philyaw
@Laszlo I’m having the same issue. Tuning my classical, or any guitar for that matter, from one tuning to another causes Roadie 2 to tell my I’m tuning the wrong string. I’m forced to manually tune the string closer to the desired pitch then use Roadie 2 to zero in, or clear the error several times until it properly tuned.
Jeffrey Philyaw
I’ve had my Roadie 2 since November and I’ve babied it. Any time it’s not in use it sits safely on my desk or in the carrying pouch I purchased alongside the tuner. I use it relatively often, but it’s by no means heavy use. Shortly after receiving my Roadie 2 the button started becoming less responsive. It’s gotten to the point now to where it won’t even register a press unless I’m pushing so hard my finger hurts. I love the functionality and precision of my Roadie 2, but the button being so unresponsive makes it useless. I’ve been forced to go back to manually tuning my guitars.
Kelsey de Haan
My Roadie 2 seems to be “in transit” This status hasn’t been changed since November 25th. Order: KS2017_4213 Can you give me an update?
Liam Mitchell
With the larger motor in the Roadie Bass, will it go back to a lower speed for other instruments to avoid over tuning the high strings? Or does it not matter?
Band Industries
@Gmatt Thanks for your post. I'm not sure what you're saying there. You might have had a couple typos.
@Bill Thanks for the heads up. We try to be as accurate as possible with our content and there's always room for improvement for everyone. We appreciate the support of backers like you and we see the passion :)
Bill von Schulz
Just a heads up - your responses don't seem to be matching the questions.
Gmatt
"One Roadievto tune them all" 😃 but Rivendell Elven, not Mordor!
Band Industries
@Terji Sure. We are sending you an email regarding the upgrade. Please check your inbox and follow through.
Terji
I filled out the survey yesterday for the Roadie 2, and I see that some people say that it doesnt fit some bigger tuning heads, so I was wondering if it was somehow possible to get a Roadie Bass instead since mine hasnt been shipped yet?
Band Industries
@Laszlo Sorry about the confusion. Is this a recurring problem or did it go away once you deleted and recreated the instrument? Also, make sure you have installed the latest firmware update if you haven't already. Please reach out via PM and provide those details so we can get you sorted out.
Laszlo Benke
Here is my post from 26th of december:
"I have a little problem with roadie 2. I have a classical guitar and i have no special tuning only the normal tuning and the tuning with D2 bass. So i have two instruments one with normal and one with D2 tuning. When i uploaded the tuning they worked on my instrument but after some days the E bass string (the low E string, i mean) cannot be tuned up, roadie said wrong string, rather annoying. If i remove this instrument and re-add it works again."
Laszlo Benke
Hi,
Is there any news regarding my low e string problem described before? I have a classical guitar just to clear it, not a bass guitar.
Please PM me if you need further information.
