Trying to understand the setup. Please let me know if this sums it up accurately or if I am just confused. Sounds like it is basically 2(3) pieces - a camera (with detachable solar panel) and a receiver base. The base has to physically plug into the router and then wirelessly communicates with the camera (- maybe via bluetooth?). The storage is on the base in the form of an SD card. The SD card holds the clips that get alerted out to the app on the phone or tablet device for viewing - so nothing is stored in the cloud. Hopefully I understood that much correctly.
Now for some questions:
Is there a way to get a live view on demand when an alert has not been received?
Can you view the recordings or stream when not on the wifi network (from work etc)?
Can the camera record a constant video up to the data storage capacity?
How many minutes or hours of video will fit on the default SD card?
What is the range for triggering the motion? (Will it capture cars driving by 40-60 ft away or only motion on the sidewalk like 12 ft away) Thanks for any clarification you can provide on these things for me and I apologize if the answers are already in the details but I didn't catch them.
