Great looking watch. The leather feels better than some other straps I’ve had in the past.

Just received my watch yesterday - blue face - and it is super! Great build quality and even the date was correct on the watch when I received it! Can't wait for their next campaign to see what they come up with. Excellent effort!

Hey Guys can we please get a shipping update, from the email you sent it was indicated they would arrive before new year which is not going to happen.

Since we've received the shipping confirmation I believe that this means excellent news!?!?!?Just want to congratulate the team behind Oakridge for their continuous hard work and dedication. Can't wait to receive this watch and see what it looks like.

@andrew @keith we posted a few updates in the update section, and we actually just posted one now! We have words that our supplier has shipped out the shipment and we should be receiving it sometime this week. Our goal is to have all the watches sent out in the following weeks before Xmas!

Hi, there's been no updates here since Sept 12th. The watch is supposed to be delivered in Dec, can you confirm if that's actually going to happen?

Can you give us an update on what's going on w these? No activity here in nearly a month. Thank you.

Hi Rick, Thank you for the clarification. It makes sense, indeed. Still, it will be nice to have the straps with buckles in the color matching the front case color in the future. The back case contrasted color is nice, but it's invisible when the watch is on your wrist, while the buckle is always visible. Thank you for the response. Please keep us updated on the progress. Cheers!

@Adam sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The strap buckles will be in silver for this production run, and this is because of production MOQ with our supplier for each additional color. We actually have to order 400pcs in this first run to meet this MOQ just for the silver buckles. However, we do plan on adding a rose gold option to match the rose gold casing in the future. To answer your second question, the back casing will also be silver. So the rose gold casing will be two tone with the silver back casing. Hope this clears up the confusion!
Adam
Review from Kickstarter
It's not clear for two reasons: all straps in the campaign are pictured with silver buckles only, and the rose gold case is in fact a two-tone case, because its back is still silver.

Question about straps buckles: do they come in both silver and rose gold to match watches case colors?

@gary @andrew We've been in constant contact with our supplier and production is going well and on schedule, we're trying to get them to send us some photos so we can post an official update soon! Stay tuned!

@Nicholas Thanks for backing and helping us reach our goal! As KS doesn't have the option to pledge after the campaign is funded, we have to do it via our online store. For your backer survey, please leave a comment on the quantity and the color of the additional strap and we will contact you for the payment after.

First off, I very excited for this watch and glad the goal was met! While filling out my survey I found it almost impossible to choose just one strap. After submitting my pledge I noticed that you can purchase an additional step for $45.00(CA). Is there a way to purchase an additional strap: 1) without having to including it in your initial pledge amount and; 2) now that the campaign has closed?

Thanks for explaining this detail. It does makes sense because otherwise the font for all numbers on the dial would have to be much smaller, I guess. My private story is that It's a bit like a hint that this is the apple watch done right, you know, the way the watch should be designed to be actually useful :-)
Oakridge — Swiss Watches
Review from Kickstarter
@Adam we actually wanted to avoid any part of the number being "bitten" out. But being a field watch, it should easily tell time right away. So after numerous positioning and different font choices, we decided to "sacrifice" part of the 10 to compensate for the legibility of the dial. Also being a field watch, it's supposed to be rugged - just like the bite size out of the 10 :)
Adam
Review from Kickstarter
One question: what is the story (if any) behind the 10 being bitten like apple by the subdial at 9 o'clock?

@Adam Yup you're correct, the 6 o'clock counter serves as both 1/10 sec and 10 hours counter.

Can you confirm if the counter at 6 has two modes -- for 1/10 sec and for 10 hours? At least this is how it works in other Ronda 5040.x watches I have seen.

Rick & Dan WOW!!! Love the new shots you have added! I'm thoroughly impressed. No, seriously, you have surpassed my expectations by many miles. Congratulations! Now add a story behind the brand and the team, and you have easily one of the best presented Watch campaigns on Kickstarter :-) Thank you!

@Adam Those are really good points! We're going to do a small photoshoot tomorrow to shoot photos of us wearing the watch in everyday settings. We'll also be adding a small bio of us to put a face to this project :) -Rick

Also, I feel like I'm supporting a no-name, no-face project, without any mention about designers, their bio, etc. while these things are very important in crowdfunding. Even your profile is basically blank and nothing about you and the story behind the project can be found on your website. Just take a look how it's done on a few other watches campaigns I have supported.
Adam
Review from Kickstarter
Note that you could even extract some great shots with people wearing your watches from your video presentation and use them to replace photos of people without watches and forest. I mean, there is a difference between using theme-setting photos and overloading presentation with photos out of context. The watch design is really nice and should play central role.

Great looking watches, just too many photos of people not even wearing any watch. It's a bit confusing and distracting -- just an impression.
