Please update us on whether or not we should be worried while using the c-force. I'm super nervous about connecting my switch.
Octavio
Mine is having issues too, does not output signal for my Macbook on first try. I don't even dare connect my Nintendo Switch to this thing after the Switch's 5.0 firmware update.
Ish Ot Jr.
My C-Force seems to have stopped working - I've tried it with 3 different machines, power supplies, and cables, and all I get is a monetary "torn" screen at most, then nothing. Has anyone found any solutions to any of the recent issues? Is anyone's still working?
Jorge Calvo
Cforce team, let us know if 5.0 issue is a problem. The update didn't affect me but I'm not aware its affected anybody else's switch. I'm strictly using the power supply that came with the switch too
Jorge Calvo
Alex, haven't had any issues with 5.0 update. CFORCE STILL WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I don't think coov sh350 or fastsnail have issues either
Alex アレックス Mui
Guys is the c-force affected by the new switch update? just wondering if anybody had problems
Keith Leng
A happy user of C-Force here from SG...been using it with my Switch and macbook pro 2017, so far ok :)
Normand Barnette
Hey C-force when are you going to introduce decal for the C-force?
Jyson Tai
Hi there, I haven't received my C-Force Hub yet. Can you please respond asap. Thank you.
Thalus
Is an update (firmware) planned? If so when?
Thank you. Sincerely
Mark
When are the backers going to provide more information about a firmware update? As mentioned below the Nyko dock has been updated to account for Nintendo's update to the switch firmware. Have the C-Force backers not been able to come up with a solution? If so, are you looking into some sort of compensation for existing owners?
Gabriel Diaz
I am sad, disappointed, and frustrated. Even with your video tip, which I’ve tried before watching your video, it does not work. I know there’s enough power as my iPhone C charges with the C-Force fine. But nothing ever appears on the tv. I’ve tried with 3 different TVs already and 3 different HDMI cables just in case. When I use the original Switch dock, no problems. I supported this for the convenience and size, and it was great when I flew to Vegas for Thanksgiving. I was hoping to play some Switch on the tv and show my friends and family the amazingness of the C-Force, but instead I showed failure and disappointment as I trusted that it would work flawlessly. I was wrong. When will this work again? Or did I get a flawed device to begin with? Can it be replaced? It has never worked since I received it.
David Rodriguez
Granted, I probably don't use my dock as much as everyone else but I am very happy with my purchase. I just received my power supply in the mail and everything works about as well as I hoped it to. I backed you guys well after 2 others I backed and am still waiting on and so far you are the only ones who have delivered. I wanted to thank you for your professionalism and time management. Actually meeting the deadlines you made for yourselfff. I did't think kickstarter was about that life. haha Whenvever you happen to find your U.S. location for exchanges( the frame was in the way of my hdmi input and i kind of have to jam it in at a funny angle. not a huge deal but i know it will break over time because of this) please inbox me. I'm not constantly checking these threads as they get cluttered. Thanks again @C-Force.
Grégory Boulanger
Is the c-force work with the usb gamecube pad adapters ? I try but it's nos working with my c-force (not updated)
Loukey
So can there be a firmware update so that we can go back to not having to unplug it, turn it on and replug it in every time? Nyko was able to provide a user updateable firmware that corrected for the same issue on their dock so I was hopeful C-Force could do the same.
Thomas Giacomo Gabriel Blanchett
My C-Force seems the get very hot. Anyone else noticed it heating up when using it???
Normand Barnette
My C-Force worked fine after the update
Onur Solak
Before the recent Nintendo Switch update, I could use C-Force with my computer via USB-C with HDMI to connect my notebook to my display. Now, when I try to connect my notebook to the display, when I plug in the C-Force to my notebook, the computer freezes for a few seconds and then, it displays blue screen on the laptop screen. I guess the Switch update bricked the C-Force. I hope it is fixable, but now the C-Force is not working neither with my Switch or my notebook.
Cerealklr02
Ok so how do we get it to work? The update was a little confusing. We just have to plug it in while the system is on?
Onur Solak
My C-Force also stopped working today. It charges the Nintendo switch but hdmi output is not working. I guess the device can't handle the stress and breaks down after certain period of time. In amazon there are also lots of comments with the same complaint. It usually happens if the c-force is removed from the switch while the switch is working.
Peter Hyun
My C-Force has stopped working. It has been working well, but suddenly has stopped. The Switch screen goes black when the C-Force is plugged in, but nothing is being sent to the TV. I have tested the HDMI and power cables in the regular dock and the Switch is charging and also sends a signal to the TV. But, using the C-Force results in a black screen on the TV and Switch. Any help would be appreciated.
Normand Barnette
Hey me and my friends like the C-Force but only thing missing is a LAN in the future please make a model with LAN support. Thanx
Jan-Willem Hoogakker
I'm very satisfied with my C force. It works very well. Thanks very much!
Roberto L Bozzacchi
I regret to inform you that your product is not working properly. I tried with different HDMI cables and different power outlets and the video does not come out on the TV. It may be noted that the Nintendo Switch shuts off, but does not transmit the video to the TV.
Lillian Laird
I have my C-Force, and it does not work with Chromebooks. Absolutely nothing happens when it's plugged in. You can't passthrough charge with it, it doesn't do anything when you plug, say, a flash drive into one of the USB ports, and the HDMI port doesn't offer any video out. It works with the Switch without issue, it says on the C-Force website that's compatible with Chromebooks. It isn't.

U know what AgentDave7 I noticed that too about the HDMI port I almost thought it was for another kind of HDMI similar to miniHDMI except almost the same size. It through me off a bit. But then when I pushed it in harder cuz I didn't want to give up. It finally fits.
Agentdave7
@Zheyu Sun: It works. That's what I mainly care about. Nothing has popped off or anything. So I just make sure that I am gentle when wiggling the HDMI cable into the offset port. What David R. is doing is a great idea - leaving an HDMI cable in it. It's a small flaw. Not perfect, but still operational... and you have received the product. Do you still want it? I can try to provide some assistance either way. Those who backed SFANS are not so fortunate. Which I was worried about. That's why I commented several times about both campaigns here. I even went a few steps further, but no actions were taken. Their outcome is still unknown at this time.
Zheyu Sun
@Agentdave7 Yes Just like yours, and when I try to plug in HDMI cable, it looks like https://drive.google.com/open…. So yours also has the problem and you will accept this?
David Rodriguez
@Zheyu Sun I have not received any contact from the support team either. I just try to keep an hd chord plugged in so I am not constantly removing it wearing it out. The way every one is having a problem with it, it sounds like their mold must have been off when casting the shell. I would not send it back to Japan without a prepaid label. Even returning the old one for a new one seems like it wouldn't be cost effective to C-force. Losing too much in shipping. They should have gathered our complaints and shipped new ones with the chargers to cut down on shipping but what do I know.
Agentdave7
@Zheyu Sun: Does your C-Force look like this, or even worse? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwq1hXmkt_DORU5LLWM4ZjBSVzQ/view…
Zheyu Sun
@Agentdave7,maybe you are right, but I don't think mine is slightly offset. If you can see the photos I sent to C-Force support team, you will find it is severely offset. If I force to insert the HDMI cable I am afraid the metal part of CF001 will broken. Even I open the case and fix it by myself I think that problem may cause the hub break much faster like @David Rodriguez said. When I found that problem I stop using it and contact the support team, I think it will work fine as a type-c hub expect the HDMI port.
Agentdave7
@Les Uzar: Did you contact the C-Force team, and did they respond?
Agentdave7
@ Zheyu Sun: On both of the models I received, the HDMI port is slightly offset as well. Seems like it's a regular occurrence. But it still works fine. Are you experiencing any other issues with your device?
Zheyu Sun
Hi,friend @David Rodriguez, did C-Force support team contact you? I received a kickstater message on 9/16 asking me to send my item back to a Japan address for replace. Cause the shipping fee may be much more than the adapter itself I ask for a pre-paid shipping label or a US address instead. After that day I received no further information. If your problem have been solved could you give me some instructions?Thank you
Normand Barnette
Cool! The C-Force charges PS4 controller too!
Normand Barnette
So yesterday I tried charging my phone with it phone is a Sony Xperia Play R800i 2011. It drains battery instead of charging it, I thought would work the same as my NVIDIA SHIELD portable! Now it does seem too take longer to charge the NVIDIA this way then it does through the NVIDIA charger when plugged into the wall but from now that's how I'll charge my phone instead in the wall. Good thing I can still charge both the Switch and my NVIDIA this way. So I'll still take it.
Glen McCann
Mine doesn't work at all. The connectors fit snugly but I don't have the lining up problem that others have. All it does is wake up the Switch screen. The HDMI cable works with other devices so that isn't the issue. I was really looking forward to using this, too bad it does nothing.
Normand Barnette
I am happy to have supported this product!
Normand Barnette
Mine works I actually like this handy dandy little device u guys free'd up a slot in my HDMI switcher for another before I had PS4 in Slot 4, my PS3 in slot 3 and my PSVita TV and Wii U would share slot 2 the Nintendo Switch slot 1 but now my PSVita TV can have slot 2 all for it's self and the Wii U owns slot one and my Nintendo Switch gets the C-Force! Thank you very much guys! I will let you know when I post a video about it on my channel later.
David Rodriguez
I actually had the same problem as Zheyu. The aluminum body is not lined up perfectly and you kind of have to come in at a weird angle and jam the hd cable in. It is a good product and works how it should work for the most part. I've had a few connectivity issues with the joy cons when trying to connect them but just unplugged and restarted the process and it worked. I would also like to receive a new C-Force (it will always be switch-con to me). Not because mine does not work but because the design flaw will make it break much faster. I also would like to know when my charger is being sent out?
Zheyu Sun
I received your support email on Sep 11 and reply soon, your solution that tilting the HDMI cable up and down then insert it into the port did not work in my situation, the metal part of my item tilt too left. And I don't won't to keep a imperfect CF-001 for the same price with others, could you give me a refund then I can buy a new perfect one from www.switch-con.com, or can you replace it for me? Waiting for you customer service reply so long time so I post it here.
Agentdave7
Oh my! I have not had that happen to mine. This is the first time I've heard about that.
Les Uzar
After using the C-Force once, the top cover (with printing) keeps popping off and exposing the circuitry. Anyone else have that issue? Can I get this fixed?
Agentdave7
I've been saying that for awhile.
Zheyu Sun
I received mine the day before yesterday, didn't have time to test it till today. However I found there was a big problem of my C-Force CF001 -- the HDMI port was crooked and I can't plug my HDMI cable into it as well as the free cable. Have sent photos to your support service to show how the port looks like.
Javier Mey
I received it yesterday but it doesn't work. I tried in two monitors and one TV, with the original USB-C and with another one. It doesn't work. All tested with my Nintendo Switch. What should I do?
Takayuki Konishi
Thank you C-Force team,
CF001 works as expected.
Reehan
Hi @creator Do the chargers have a UK plug type ?
Jorge Calvo
Recieved Mine today, works like a charm. I'm curious though, how come the switch display in handheld mode has to be ON prior to plugging in the C-force?
I tried pluging in c-force prior to turning on the switch from its sleep mode and what ends up happening is the switch turns on and remains in handheld state This seems to be the only bother I have with the product, other than that its fairly decent.
