Hello, I never got a response about the rib when I commented last year. My strap was put on twisted, so therefore, I cannot put it on correctly. I compared the strap to the photos and the video because I could not figure out how to put it on after carefully following instructions, and discovered the strap was twisted and then affixed. How do I get a replacement??? Thank you.

@ Jessica Chung: if you have issues with putting on your rib I am very happy to upload more videos. Just let me know which parts of the rib you want me to focus on:)

I may be wearing it wrong, but does anyone else get some pain in their shoulders after wearing for a few hours?

Correction, not a Plus, just a 6S. Sorry was thinking plus as I was just comparing my phone in case, to my roommates plus without case.

Review from Kickstarter
Not sure what size cases some people are using. My phone died just the other day and when I went in for repairs they said they had to upgrade me to the 6s plus. I cringed thinking it wouldn't fit. Surprised it does even while wearing a thinner UAG case. It's a VERY tight fit, but it works. Maybe I'm a lucky one, or my pouch stretched from use with my old one? That one had a very thick case.

@Kenneth Sorry man but as this is the 2 version on the RIB we had to make a choice on the pocket size. Too large of a pocket is some thing we also don't want. Apologies and thank you for your support!

@David Sorry for getting back late to you on this one. We have had a few comments about pulling the strap adjuster through the loop and I will do a video on the best way to do this. Thank you for the support!

@Hiram since we have worked so closely with the manufacturers the "New Car" smell may be more intense than your everyday sort of products. It will pass :)

I would so use this for everyday and traveling. I bought 2. But why would they make the pocket so small?? They already made the mistake with rib 1. I mean how much more doesn't cost to have a bigger pocket?? You should know mobile phones are getting bigger all the time. Sigh. So upsetting.

Good bag but the Hp pocket is too small for my iPhone 6s Plus. Such a pity.

Just to follow up, managed to pull the slider through the back loop (if you are trying to do this, then just perceiver, it works eventually) and now it fits perfectly and is great. The double strap across the back actually makes it feel more secure and sits nicely. Well done on this, I love it.

Got mine today although the strap s way too big. Had a go at pulling the adjuster through the backloop, but is is a tight squeeze and haven't managed to do it. If I can't get it to fit, will have to unpick some stitches, or just cut the strap and resew. It looks good, but haven't been able to use it properly yet. Hopefully with adjustments it will work.

Got mine a few days ago. Well done on a very efficient campaign. Unfortunately I can't really say what I think of it. Due to the intense chemical stench, I can't get near it. I expect the smell will go away with time. Certainly hope so, I'm eager to put it in action.

Hello Everyone!!! So very sorry about the customs, its something I think we all struggle with. This time my shipper labeled "gift" for all international shipments and at this point its really all we can do right now. Please give us more advice if there is a better alternative.
In terms of the strap, we had to make a choice where should the adjuster be when manufactured and we chose the large position. So yes for all that is med or small you will have to pull the plastic adjuster through the back loop if you guys want I can update a quick video on how to do this :) Thank you all for the awesome support!!!

Received mine today :) Looks great. Quality is great. It does need a bit of time to adjust and wear it correctly. I also had to pay customs fee.

Just receive mine today! Love it! Need a litle bit of adaptation to wear/adjust it correctly! The phone pocket fit my iPhone 6 Plus (without silicon case). The only thing I'm disappointed its the the shipping with DHL (23,87 $CAD of customs fees, DHL is very expensive in Canada). But I'm very happy to own a very good quality and well thought product.

Just received mine today - love it! Had a bit of trouble getting the plastic bit through the loop until I opened it slight to see that it was glued together at the bottom. Once I pulled it apart, the plastic clasp went through easily!

@ Robert Erlick and everyone else. Due to the production line logistics we had to have the adjustment buckle ( the plastic rectangular piece that adjusts the length of the strap) to be at the large and x-larger position. So some people may have to push the buckle through the loop to be at the medium and small position. Sorry for this inconvenience everyone! And thank you all again for the amazing support for this project!

Got mine and I love it. It does take a bit of getting used to but I am a bit spatially challenged if that is a word. And I am a lefty.
* Build quality is great.
* Material is excellent.
* Service is great again (just as with the blade.) 5 stars! would back again.

To everyone who has ordered multiple Ribs' 2.0 and only received one, please don't worry! Our shipper caught on his mistake right after and has already sent them out again! You will receive the correct number of Ribs 2.0 you've backed and before Christmas! Please let us know if you have any questions! Thanks!

@Scott McClain: Very sorry about this! You'll be receiving the other 2 Ribs 2.0 very soon! Our shipper sent out only 1 Rib 2.0 for some multiple orders but it's been resolved and you should definitely receive them before Christmas!

I received only one (1) of the three (3) Rib 2.0 I ordered (backed) today. Were all of them sent separately? I was a $135 Pledger. An update would be appreciated.

@Mihaela Mihaljevic Jakic, Yes you'll be receiving a 2nd one soon! Apologies but our shipper had made a mistake with some orders that had multiple Ribs. We've resolved this and have sent out for those who've received only 1 by error! It should all still arrive before Christmas!

@avid...FYI
Pro: quick shipping
Con: forced to pay an extra $21cdn because DHL is garbage. Please don't use them again when shipping to Canada for your next project. I'd rather wait a month for a shipment to come via regular post from China.
DHL doesn't give a F that you declared it as a $20 gift :( Please, and thank you.

Than you all for the comments! It's these idea and responds from you all gets us to improve all of our products. We learned so much from the Rib 1.0 that in terms of the size of both the main and and phone pockets we really had to make a call for what is most asked for.
In relation to the rest of the backers most people really just want the size of an iphone 6, we have added the size to accommodate up to a 6+ with a slim case. If we went bigger, there would have been a concern of the phone falling out of the pocket. Customization is one of the most difficult aspects of niche products like the Rib as it really expensive to scale production. Also, the Rib is really meant for essentials that are usually kept in pockets which are a real pain when those items bunch up. We consciously designed it to hug the body so that its not too bulky.
Thank you all again for the amazing support!!! Best,
Steven

Honestly, in concept it's a great idea but in function it doesn't work for me. I have an iPhone and a small journal in the large pocket and due to the fact that these aren't curved the rib takes up a natural position on the anterior lateral side of my back rather than flush on my side. Leaves me needing to swing the bag bag to the side when I need to get to it. I also find that the phone pocket can be bigger as it can't hold my iphone6+ with a bumper but can hold my s5 just fine. The craftsmanship is superb, great work and I like the touch with the magnetic clasp under the logo. The zip is nice but I wish it could be a little bigger for iPads with cases but all is all a solid product. Thanks.

Woo-hoo! I got mine today too! It took a little time to adjust the strap, but now it's very comfortable. The phone pocket could be a bit bigger; my Nexus 6 doesn't quite fit. But that's okay because I can put my phone in the main pocket and my keys in the phone pocket. Thanks for the fast shipping and the great product!

oh, one more comment - next time I'd go even larger for the phone pocket. I've got a Galaxy S5 and I use a slim TPU case but with a Card Ninja pocket to carry 3 cards. with the case on, it's too tight a fit. plus, phones keep getting bigger!

Review from Kickstarter
well lookie here! my Rib 2.0 arrived today! kudos on timely delivery, which is such a rarity on Kickstarter. my initial impressions are very positive - looks to be very well constructed and looks like it should be pretty durable. I've been wearing it for a couple of hours and it feels comfortable and unintrusive. the reach across my body for my phone feels a bit far, but with usage it should become second nature - I find that I hook my finger around the magnetic fastener to pull the Rib closer, making one-handed removal of the phone easy. some thoughts for Rib 3.0: - while my 7-inch tablet does indeed fit in the larger pocket, with the natural curve of my torso it could be a BendGate in the making. I wonder if that pocket could be made in Portrait orientation instead of Landscape to lessen that feeling. also, I think there's a fair amount of dead space in that pocket, since there's really no way to reach that far into it. - the loop at the top of the centering strap on the back is very tight - it didn't allow for the buckle to pass through it very easily (I worked it through there eventually). the way mine was packaged, the strap was positioned with the adjustment buckle on the side of the loop closest to the Rib's pockets. I had to move it to the other side of that loop so the clip could ride higher (it was right up against where the pockets are). - speaking of that loop on the center strap - it really won't lie flat against my back as designed, and I think I'd prefer it if it were somehow positioned lower on my back. please don't let my constructive criticisms dissuade you - I'm very pleased with how this project was managed and how the Rib 2.0 turned out. I found the project very close to the end of its funding period and it was somewhat of an impulse backing, and I'm very glad that it turned out this well.

Hello LOOXIS, Thanks for reaching out! Yes! Your Blade was supposed to be sent out with your Rib 2.0. However, we sent out the shipment info earlier for The Blade by mistake before the Rib 2.0 production was completed. You (and everyone else) will most definitely receive it soon! Thanks!

Hello Everyone!
Sorry we have been a bit late paying our thanks to all the great comments and questions as we have been very busy making sure that production and logistic is ready to ship out next week. Yes, next week is our target and at this point we are very confident this will happen. As this is our 6th project we have developed close relationships to out vendors and was why we stated a delivery date before Christmas! So fingers crossed! Thank you all so much!

@Avid Union - this is the first of your projects I've backed. I came in with a few hours to go, and was glad to see it got funded after I turned in for the night. I read through the updates but didn't see much about the timeline. without any context, December seems like a pretty aggressive target. are things moving forward as expected?

@ David U, AvidUnion is a project of passion. We at this point aren't making a profit which is why my team and my self all have full time jobs. Its these connections that I make with you backers that keeps me going. We have used various types of advertising and I find that nothing really works. Actually, I am currently using both BackerClub and GadgetFlow. BackerClub however is really making an impact, but the most amount engagement is still from the Kickstarter community which is getting harder and harder to get noticed. That is probably why there are so many of these PR and groups trying to sell their services to us creators.
At the end my budget is very low as my campaigns are not as popular as the rest. It's cool, I don't plan to stop anytime soon I am just grateful that you guys support us at AvidUnion.
