I have been enjoying the bag, great for travel, but I have had one of the eyelets come out as well. Is this something that you guys can fix/ replace? Would love to have the bag back at full working order.

After all the recent press about safeguarding privacy I was gobsmacked to open an email message displaying all recipients’ email addresses. That kind of carelessness is unacceptable.

Yesterday one of the lower eyelets for the shoulder straps ripped out.
I hadn't very much in the bag, so the weight shouldn't have been the problem.
I thought I could fix this easily, but it looks like I'd have to remove the lining for that.
But I'd probably ruin the backpack this way.
This is really a pitty.

Seems like a really good quality product. I would appreciate an instruction manual / ideas for how to configure it as different shape bags. It's not as obvious as I thought it would be

Been using it as a backpack for work since Jan. Really comfy to carry around and I love how I can get stuff in place in the main compartment by buttoning up the sides. Only thing for me was the threads on the pockets seem to be coming out bit by bit. I assume that's not meant to happen?

The backpack is surprisingly comfortable to wear, considering it has no stabilizers. Not even the glass bottles I carried, pinched my back. With around 5kg in the backpack, there is absolutely no need to worry about the stability. After New years eve (when the bottles were gone), i folded it to the hand-carry-bag for the way home. Great!
The organizer pockets though seem to be just a tiny bit too small for my stuff. But maybe I just need a smaller wallet and phone. You're not planning do design one of those, do you? ;)
Even though there's nothing wrong with the shoulder straps, I will make minimalistic ones (thinner and not adjustable) for myself. I feel the original ones take up a little too much space, to carry them with me all the time. (Though I totally see, that the straps you delivered had to be adjustable. Also the 50mm belt make them comfortable to wear.)
Absolutely great product! Thanks for that and I look forward to future projects of yours! :)

Just received mine. Laptop fits just into the purseish version. (What do you actually call the small version?) I'm quite happy with the foldr so far and will try out in the real world today.

Hi Tan, we would recommend a maximum of 3.5KG(8.82lbs) for tote, and a 5KG(11.02lbs) for backpack. (Well of course, sometimes we do pack more than that, too!)

I havent used it outside yet but at first glance it looks really good, the leather is really soft and overall seems to be a high quality bag i'd definitely recommend my friends. But I'm a little concerned about the button buckles ' over time usage if they happen to come off and the bag won't be able to do what it's supposed to do

I've received the bag. It is great! Lightweight and seems to be sturdy. I'm unfortunately not as efficient at changing the forms of the bag as I hoped. Will you guys be able to post a infogram on how to get to the various configurations?

@Lois: Due to the appearance of the design, we made the tote bag style only for hand held, while it is still possible for certain people to put it on to the shoulder, but we would say that won't be very comfortable.
Lois

Thanks for the answer.
As for the tote strap, Foldr's seems very short compared to most other tote bags' straps.
Your video only show them being lugged, and it doesn't seem to be made to be carried on shoulder (freeing both hands). Late to realize that. Is it still possible to have longer strap ?
Neweaves
Review from Kickstarter
@Lois: Hi Lois, thanks for your suggestion, we wouldn't say it's too late to change anything, but would say that the design is to give the best using experience to our user! Unfortunately yes the straps for tote is not adjustable. Regarding the shoulder straps, we don't put it to side due to uncomfortableness as we have got people to test a few different prototypes. But thanks again for your suggestions, and maybe we could do something about it in our next version of Foldr! Who knows? Cheers!
Lois
Review from Kickstarter
Probably too late at this stage, but the strap of the tote is not adjustable ? Also would it be possible to shift the upper side backpack strap attachment more to the side ? That way the bag can also be used as shoulder bag.
Not like it has to be centred (maybe even more comfortable).
Thanks :)

Hi there Debra, for the shipping fees, we chose express delivery for our backers, one of the reason we chose this, is that we do not have enough quantity of bags to be on the bulky delivery (means slower too), so we decided to make it express for everyone, in fact, we have got the best price for our backers. Regarding your concern, the nuts on the handle should be durable enough for all usage, as we have tested a few and have been using for months, no signs of getting loose. In addition, we do have our warranty policy which includes the nut, you can have a check over there. The fabric you see from the prototype, is the same but not the same quality, we've got an improved version which we mentioned about it in our campaign, there will be less wrinkles on the side being pulled and the handle part will be reinforced, so the stress will not affect the durability. You can see it being pulled up with wrinkles, it's because we use fabric for Foldr, which is not as hard as leather. You can private message us too. So we can clear all your doubts about our project! Thanks for supporting us!
Debra
Review from Kickstarter
Is the S$ 32 shipping rate to the US correct? That seems rather steep. I also have concerns about the long term viability of the plastic nuts, especially on the handles on the tote bag. It also seems that the design of the handles when in tote bag mode will create undue stress on the bag. I can see the sides of the bag being pulled upward in the picture with the tote hanging from the chair.

@Lisa: Hi there Lisa, the dimensions of product has all been prepared and are all in the campaign, just scroll it down and have a look! For the recommended weight we would like to have an accurate measurement before we get back to you, but according to our usage during the testing period, we took it on to many places and activities, and filled with things like a 2 litre full bottles, a laptop with charging cables and accessories, altogether and it still works fine! So you can have that as a reference just before we get back to you. Thank you for your patience and your support! Cheers!

And the handle part you're referring to, we have tested it with lots of type of stuff including heavy things, we found no problems with it. But of course, if there is such problems occur, it is definitely under our warranty part as it should be due to the durability of the Plastic Nuts.

Review from Kickstarter
@citiboi: we have tested a few model of Plastic Nuts, and chose the best we have found, and we do know certain plastic might have problem after time being, therefore some of the part will be included in the warranty, but we still need our customers to give us a feedback if there is something they would like to claim for warranty, we will allow the claim if there's is the need to do so, nothing to worry, as we think of the best interest for our customers.

Review from Kickstarter
Hi The different configurations depend a lot on the "Plastic Nuts". As such, I do hope that the Plastic Nuts will be really strong and durable. Similar snap buttons/fasteners/studs have a tendency to become loose over time. Some will stop working altogether due to repeated use. Also, I note that handles of the tote bag configuration consist of two segments held together solely by 2 Plastic Nuts. I do hope that these handles will be strong enough for moderate to heavy loads.
