Great! And thank you for the quick response! Really looking forward to this beauty :-)
Blackout Geneve
@Matthijs Robbert: We have both . But we only put the small one on kickstarter. so be assured you will get the one you went for
Matthijs Robbert
First of all I have to say I am really looking forward to receiving the Darkshield watch end of october / early november. I have one question though. In the kickstarter campaign I saw the darkshield is a 39/40 mm version. I recently saw a post on your insta page of a 42mm. Does this mean it will be a 42 instead of a 39/40mm? I was looking forward to the 39/40mm because of my smaller wrist. Could you please let me know what the final production will be? Thanks in advance!
Blackout Geneve
@R Clay Stiles: All the watches are 10 atm even if we forget to add it on H series features list it is the same for all
Blackout Geneve
@R Clay Stiles: Well when you get the pledge it means the discount has already been applied obviously . The discount is off the FUTURE RETAIL PRICE . Which means the price you payed is 375 cheaper then its normal future price
R Clay Stiles
And with my pledge it says "You save 375 chf off the future retail price." How will i go about redeeming that pledge benefit? And san I get more than one watch with this discount?
R Clay Stiles
Thanks! Something else popped into my otherwise empty head... What is the water resistance rating on the H3? The dark shield is rated at 10 atm but surprisingly there is no reference for the water resistance of the chronographs on the campaign page...
Blackout Geneve
@R Clay Stiles: Hi !
I just got the confirmation that the actual series of watches that will be produced will be the exact ones that are in the pictures of the kickstarter story page . The new prototypes with smaller pushers did not pass the final design tests .
R Clay Stiles
Get some shots of the actual pushers on the H3 for me as well? Thanks!
John H. Halpern, M.D.
You guys are great!
Blackout Geneve
@John H. Halpern, M.D.: John Halpern we haven't forgot about you . The guy who does the pictures especially this sort of pictures that are hard to get right is coming down from zurich so we have been waiting for that . i ll check with the office on monday to see when will he next be here and when we can have them
John H. Halpern, M.D.
Agreed. But oh who promised he'd get a few photos of the Lume glowing... :)
F Leonardo
You guys have your stuff together. This is an exemplary KS campaign so far.
Jens Vanbiervliet
Thanks! Can’t wait !
Blackout Geneve
@Jens Vanbiervliet: Hi ! We should be starting to prepare the orders at the end of next week but we do not have a precise time frame yet . Once all watches are ready and everything gets planned on our workshop we will post an update . My guess is everyone will receive the watch end october / early november.
Blackout Geneve
@Phillip S G Osborne: Hi . We sent you the link for the h3 order . Did you go for it ?
Jens Vanbiervliet
Any updates on shipping timeframe? Thx!
Phillip S G Osborne
Hi I used the email address you provided. My email is phillipsgosborne@eventusbusinessadvisors.com Thanks
Blackout Geneve
@Phillip S G Osborne: What is your email ? did you send on blackoutconcept1@gmail.com ? cause we don t have it
Phillip S G Osborne
Hi I sent again, thanks
Blackout Geneve
@R Clay Stiles: hey . sorry for the late reply . 1. I don't have a final answer for that yet . But will notify you as soon as i do .
2. Please email : blackoutconcept1@gmail.com with the picture or the model reference and i will explain how to order it .
Blackout Geneve
@César Del Pozo Paumard: Yes of course ! An update will be posted announcing the delivery .
Blackout Geneve
@Phillip S G Osborne:
Hi ! Which email did you send on ? Please send on : blackoutconcept1@gmail.com . Please send again during today and i will answer it .
Phillip S G Osborne
Hi I sent an email about an additional watch but have not received a response!
César Del Pozo Paumard
Do you notify when the watches are sent?
R Clay Stiles
No painted dials. Working chronographs. Awesome. 2 last quick things... Tahnks for being patient with me...
1. The emails i received said you were still deciding on pushers. Are they going to be as large as the pushers in the demo products or smaller?
2. If I wanted to order n additional h3 in reverse panda - Black main dial and white subdials - how would i do that? I don't see it listed here but photos are all over the internet.
Blackout Geneve
@R Clay Stiles: * And chronographe really work
Blackout Geneve
@R Clay Stiles: Oh . I think i actually got what you mean by painted hands . No way :))) . of course our hands are not painted . We sell real watches . no paintings whatsoever :)
Blackout Geneve
@R Clay Stiles: I am not sure what you mean by painted hands . Please email us the photos of the watch you had with more precise and comprehensive questions based on images so i can understand what exactly are you talking about .
In any case our watches are not ' painted' . so you should stay assured
R Clay Stiles
Ok I just got a watch FROM A DIFFERENT VENDOR - not a Blackout watch - this other watch had chronograph face with painted hands - Please reassure me that the chronograph on the Blackout watches work and are not just painted on... :-)
Blackout Geneve
@Phillip S G Osborne: You can do that if you want . Please email : blackoutconcept1@gmail.com and we'll send you a separate link to add another watch
Phillip S G Osborne
I was thinking about adding another watch
Blackout Geneve
@Phillip S G Osborne: The full black one is H4.3 . What do you mean about bidders ?
Blackout Geneve
@John H. Halpern, M.D.: Yes it is the same , DLC
Blackout Geneve
@Firas Al-Jubouri: What exactly do you mean by watch face ? Dial or bezel?
Phillip S G Osborne
Which model is the all black one. On the survey did you think about allowing bidders to add to there orders
John H. Halpern, M.D.
Ish- seems like the Creators are busy with a tight plan to ship early...I went ahead and selected the all black one....
Firas Al-Jubouri
Sorry, the previous post was meant for the creators of the project. So, is there a difference in the material used to make the watch face of the H3 and H4 versions?
Firas Al-Jubouri
Hi John, is there a difference in the material used to make the watch face of the H3 and H4 versions?
John H. Halpern, M.D.
Quick q: your PVD process is to affix DLC like you do for your other blacked out watches yes? I would think so but still am curious as the answer will help me in my final selection!
John H. Halpern, M.D.
Thx! I like just fine what you've created!
Blackout Geneve
@John H. Halpern, M.D.: Dear John . The website is a totally different universe from the kickstarter project . Customisation is only available for much much higher prices . You can send an email to info@blackoutconcept.com for more informations .
Concerning the PVD bracelet it is as stated , guaranteed for two years and we can remake it in the case of 'regular usage breaks ' which should not happens at all normally because we worked on its texture as much as possible so that it lasts even longer then that .
If the PVD goes away because of a huge shock or from being dropped on the floor it will not be guaranteed .
John H. Halpern, M.D.
Very nice! I thought quicker delivery might be in the works because of the updates to your website. Great! Since you are also known for special customization... are modifications possible? Totally thrilled with the watch as is so it's ok if not. I'm just concerned about night reading: like what if the face could be painted in Lume creating a reverse lume effect? Also a q about the PVD black bracelet: if over time the bracelet has a number of scratches: can you share with us how we could get that repaired or would that require a new purchase (hopefully a long time down the road)?
Blackout Geneve
Hello everyone !
Thank you so much for your support and your pledges !
We are excited to announce that the watches might be delivered even earlier then we thought ( end september -mid october ) since we are doing everything to speed up the production .
Surveys will be sent during this week so everyone will be able to choose their favourite model and send us the shipping address .
We will continue to keep you posted with all news and updates . <3
Chi
When do we decide which watch we pick? Thanks
Matthijs Robbert
i just can't wait to strap the Darkshield on my wrist!!! So glad we made it!
Martin Fischer
Yes. You did it!!!!
Martin Fischer
I'm glad to have found Blackout and when I hold my watch in hands, I already know which my next clock of Blackout will be.
Blackout Geneve
@John H. Halpern, M.D.: Yes there is lume indeed in the hour and minute hands for the H series and in the hour makers for the Darkshield model . Unfortunately i won t be able to post any photos today since there are only a few hours left until the weekend and we only post professional photos on kickstarter. I will however keep in mind your request and post some on instagram next week .
John H. Halpern, M.D.
Oh one more thing... it seems clear from the close-up photos that Lume is painted onto the hour and minute hands and in little hour markers on the face...correct? Can you post a nighttime photo so we can see what it looks like in darkened conditions? Thanks!
