- Black Series: Yes, the stripes in the Black Series will also be reflective but not as strong as the yellow for obvious reason.
- Material: It's a more premium material used that is both more durable and much lighter and easier to fold away when not used.
- Warranty: If you would experience any problems with your bag we would have you send back the bag to wherever is convenient for you so that we can arrange this internally after with our local warehouse. @Filippo Thanks to you and all the rest of you awesome backers for being part of bringing the 2.0 series to market.
Filippo Terreri
It'done, congratulations!!!
Paul van der Haar
-In all black are the stripes also reflective?
-Is the fabric the same as North face bags?
-For warranty we need to send it back to Sweden?
Hope you manage to reduce delivery cost!
@Jeb The Shockproof Inflatable System is included in the PRO DRYBAG 45L but not the Internal Pack System. This will however be possible to add prior shipping.
Jeb Cheng
Is the Internal Pack System is included in PRO DRYBAG 45L rewards?

@SUBTECH SPORTS: Thank you - looking good!
@Wittsek-Saltzberg Great, we're on top of Black Series as well as local warehouses. Our 1.0 PRO DRYBAG has been tested in the most extreme conditions and for the 2.0 version we have even made the bags even more durable in combination with low-weight carrying. If you in some way would damage your bag, we will of course want to learn more how it happened to prevent it from happen again and we would of course repair your bag, free of charge. The Shockproof Inflatable System is made in the same durable material as the outside of the bag with the only difference that it's lighter to make it easier to inflate. For the bags we have sourced the best materials available on the market in order to create bags that can withstand the most extreme conditions and at the same time last you a lifetime!
Thanks all again for your great support and we can't wait to bring the PRO DRYBAG 2.0 Series to market together with you all!

Hi - just got on this train, looks really cool! +++ for all black version
+++ for European warehouse What if the bag gets damaged (water leaking in) within lets say 1 Year --> will there be any warranty or chance of getting it repaired.
Is the Shockproof Inflatable System (45l) durable enough that it does not get damaged by a headphone jack or dirt (like little stones) if there is any pressure from the inside?
@Hendrik Thanks to you and the rest of all you valued backers for being part of making this happen! @Sylvain Thanks for your great support! Kickstarter only allow you to pledge for 1 reward and we don't have a package with 1x PRO DRYBAG 100L + 1x DRY TOTEBAG 95L (as it would be too many different combos on top of the 14 packages we already got). The only package we got now is 1x PRO DRYBAG 45L + 1x PRO DRYBAG 100L + 1x DRY TOTEBAG 95L. So either if you find a friend that want to buy the 45L or that you pledge for the PRO DRYBAG 100L now and you add the DRY TOTEBAG 95L after the Kickstarter campaign ends. Final countdown- Less than 24 hours to go now!
Sylvian Wong
As mention before I had pledged PRO DRYBAG 100L and I Also want to pledge DRY TOTEBAG 95L. But seem the system only let me pledge one item. What can I do ?
Thank you for getting back to me wrt the EU (and other) warehouses. This indeed will ensure we are not charged once more and is therefore greatly appreciated!!
Good luck with the next steps of the project.. we have an appointment in June (or a bit later, this is Kickstarter after all ;-) )...
@Hendrik Thanks for your great support! We agree with you but as mentioned earlier we are getting charged by volume weight so the shipping cost directly reflects how much it cost us to send out these bags. Great feedback however and we've been looking in to having one warehouse in the US, one in Europe (possibly two), and one in Asia (possibly two) as well as Australia to optimize it for you valued backers. This is something we treat as high priority. Thanks all for your great support and we can't wait to put these awesome 2.0 Series bags to market together with you all!
I made a pledge a few moments ago, these bags look great.
However indeed the shipping costs are extremely high, too high in my opinion.
Somewhat related with that I did want to ask whether there is any news wrt the possibility to ship from within Europe for European backers, as was announced by SUBTECH a few posts below. Can this be confirmed? This is important to me (and I suppose many other European backers) as it will avoid paying a very high amount of additional taxes. Which would make these bags really expensive Together with the costly shipping charges.
Could you please clarify this before the end of the campaign? Thank you.
@R Blake This is the advantage with Kickstarter, that we can listen to what our valued backers want and adapt to it- We are really stoked about bringing the Limited Black Series to market as well! @David Please see our comments to your questions below: - Does the 100L bag have the option to buy the shock system? No, the air-tight zipper (which allows you to stand on it without leaking air) in combination with the reinforced Internal Pack System will keep your gear fully protected. - The 45L bag is said to be cabin approved, what about the 100L version? Yes, the 45L is cabin approved. Some airline companies only allow smaller dimensions but then you can simply remove an item, squeeze out the excess air and vacuum seal the bag so that it goes within the allowed dimensions if they say something. The 100L is too big to bring on the flight but will do a terrific job protecting your gear just like a hard suitcase, with the only difference that our bag can not break when they throw your luggage around. - What human weights can the 45L and 100L support in water? We haven't had anyone being able to sink the bags. The 100L obviously has even more buoyancy given the bigger volume. - Which would you recommend for city use, the 45L or 100L? For city use and day to day use we would recommend the 45 Liter bag as that would be enough space wise unless you carry a lot of things and need a more than twice the size bag- the 100 Liter.

- Is the 100L smaller if not filled to the brim or does it have a fixed ‘skeletal’ structure? The 100L comes with the Internal Pack System so it will keep its shape with it packed in. If you remove the Internal Pack System you can choose how big you want the outer bag yourself by easily squeeze out air before vacuum seal the completely air tight zipper to make sure the "air-bag" shaped bag sits perfectly on your back as it molds along your back and spine. Thanks all for your great support and we can't wait to bring the PRO DRYBAG 2.0 Series to market together with all of you!

Another vote for the all black version!
@ Sylvain We fully understand you but as mentioned below we guess you just have to look at the total price paid instead- which is about 50% off including shipping. Please note that if you add another product later on Shipping will be added accordingly. @Leonard Thanks for your great feedback and we agree with you that the Black Series look pretty sick! Thanks all for your great support!
Leonard Lin
I've done a lot of all-weather travel the past few years (the Ortlieb Mountain-X has been my go-to, but the diagonal vs transverse T-Zip on the Pro Drybag seems like exactly what I need) - just one more vote of extreme interest for the Black Series regardless of whether you guys reach the stretch goal!
Sylvian Wong
One more question. Can I combine shipping of my ordered pledged PRO DRYBAG 100L and want to pledge DRY TOTEBAG 95L?
Sylvian Wong
The shipping fee is much much much more than my expectation. It cost more than 1/4 of the bag price.
@Pocket We fully understand you but all shipping costs directly reflects the cost for us to send the packages as we get charged by volume weight. Instead of including the shipping cost in the Pledge we wanted to be transparent and charge the shipping cost separately so we guess you just have to look at the total price paid, which is about 50% off including shipping. We hope to have you as a valued backer and be part of bringing the PRO DRYBAG 2.0 Series to market together.
Pocket Rocket
Any chance to review shipping costs? It's quite expensive :(
@Courtney The DRY TOTEBAG 95L is designed with both straps to carry by hand as well as shoulder straps for heavier lifting. All welded seams and straps are reinforced to be able to handle extreme heavy lifting in combination with a lightweight material that can easily be tucked away so you can bring it with you wherever you go and that will last a lifetime.
Does the tote bag have a longer shoulder strap or only straps to carry by hand?
@Gles Thanks for being part of bringing the PRO DRYBAG 2.0 Series to market. Yes, you will be able to get add-ons after the campaign ends but a tip is to select the bags you want already at this stage to be sure to get the best discount.
Gles Poppleton
Will there be a way of adding stickers, bennie or even other bags once funding is complete???
Looks such a great product- can’t wait Thanks
@CR That's awesome- thanks for your great support! It seems like a lot of you valued backers want to see the Black Series come to market so we're now working on making that happen as we and our team riders are really stoked about it as well! Btw. Here you can check out our latest vlog where we catch up with our team rider and the SUP World Champion (in the vlog you see the 1st generation 45L as well as early prototypes of the 2.0 series 45L and 100L). @Austin Do not worry. Once the bags are ready to be sent out we will send all you valued backers a link so that you can simply insert the correct updated shipping details yourself.

Hello. I am moving in June. Will you send out a confirmation of address right before you ship so that I can make sure I receive the bags?
@Steven Thanks for your feedback! We agree with you and we are doing everything in our power to bring this Black Series to market as well, without any additional cost.
Steven Lee
hi, will the black edition be available even if the stretch goal is not reached? possibly with additional cost, as an add on? i'm sure a lot of the backers would like the option to purchase this option. thanks
ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾
@Creator I see. Thanks!
@ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾ At first we would just like to point out that the PRO DRYBAG are completely air-tight thanks to our welded seams and completely air-tight zipper. This means that you can stand and sit on the bag without ANY air leaking out and protecting your gear at all time (even if the bag is completely empty and no Shockproof Inflatable System or Internal Packs System is fitted inside the bag). The Shockproof Inflatable System (only for 45L) is designed to protect your gear from been tossed around inside your bag, protecting the sides and corners. On the 100L bag we have designed a padded Internal Packs System instead that in combination with the airtight zipper will allow a perfect protection for any fragile gear.
ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾
@Creator does the 100L includes the inflatable system? If not is there a way to add it to the bag? Thanks.
@Marc We're happy you like the Limited Black Series as we would love to bring it to market together with all you valued backers! @Chris Great questions: On the PRO DRYBAG 45L and PRO DRYBAG 100L we have a sternum strap and waist belt for heavy carrying. The shoulder straps in combination with the (stabilized) blown up air-bag effect that you get thanks to the air-tight zipper allows a perfect fit on your back and shoulders. There is however limited air-flow between your back and bag as there is no additional padding. We have been wanting to keep the sleek design of the bag but still with optimal carrying and easy access to your gear. The bags have been going thru extreme testing to make sure the bags can withstand the most extreme conditions and at the same time sit perfect on your back, no matter what size or body type. @Roland Great question: Considering we are using a completely air-tight zipper the bag keep the shape even if you only fill the bag to 10% or have it completely empty as you just determine yourself how much air you want inside the bag before closing the air-tight zipper so that sits perfectly on your back or act as a buoy when crossing a river. After closing the zipper you can literally stand or sit or on the bag without ANY air leaking out and this will also keep you gear protected when packing your fragile equipment in the back of your car or tossing it around on your extreme adventure. Thanks all for your great support!
Roland Bretterbauer
Hi all.
@creator: thanks for quick reply. I still have a question regarding carrying the 100l-bag as a regular backpack for travelling: what if the bag is not fully filled-e.g. 50% - is it still keeps it shapes like a travel backpack or does it loose it more like a sports/duffbag? So is there something like a reinforcement/stiffening at the bottom?
Thx a lot
Chris Abderhalden
Hello @ Subtech team, I wonder if there is a flow of air between the back and the backpack. Especially with IP68 materials for long-distance hiking? How is the back stabilized? How can you ensure the comfort of using it as a backpack? I really like this product. Until now, I have only rolltop backpacks. Waterproof but poor usability. Greetings from Switzerland.
@subtech Team
I would love to see a black edition!
@Roland Great question! During the R&D we have been putting the bags to extreme tests making them optimal for any extreme adventure. On the 2.0 Series we have added both sternum strap and removable waist belt to allow perfect support for your back when the bags are packed heavily. The backpack straps are designed to allow a perfect fit on your shoulders no matter what body size yet still with a minimalistic design to easily be tucked away when not needed or travelling. The removable backpack buckles are made of aircraft graded 7075 aluminum alloy to maximum strength in combination with low weight carrying. As an example of a few extreme tests we’ve done with our bags you can check out the below link:
Roland Bretterbauer
Hi. I was wondering about comfort of carrying the 100l as a backpack. Are there any references/experience on carrying a full backpack with e.g. 20 kilograms for longer period. Cheers Roland
@Hanske Thanks for the tip! We checked quickly and it looked like a good option to implement for when the campaign ends so thanks! We would be more than happy to get good suggestions on how we can spread the word about our campaign so we can reach our stretch goals to together and make sure we have enough backers to bring the Black Series to market. Check out the Black Series- were pretty stoked about it:…

@Michael That's great to hear! Kickstarter only allow you to pledge for 1 reward. If you want the DRY TOTEBAG 95L as well as the PRO DRYBAG 100L we only have the below package at the moment as we already have 14 different pledge packages (the below package with maximum discount might be an option in case you have a friend that is willing to pitch in for the PRO DRYBAG 45L): PRO DRYBAG 45L+PRO DRYBAG 100L+DRY TOTEBAG 95L | To the EARLIEST BIRD price: Total Price ≈ USD 500 ($400 for the bags + $100 shipping)
Discount (incl. shipping) ≈ 50% (MSRP $997) If you do not want the PRO DRYBAG 45L, just pledge for the PRO DRYBAG 100L and we will work something out so you can add the DRY TOTEBAG 95L later on. I am getting the 100L Pro DryBag. Can you get 2 rewards? I would also like to get the 95L Dry Totebag or would you be able to get that as an add on.
@Christoph As we just replied you personally, please check the email signature in the email you have received and contact them directly instead. We can assure you that we have not hired any one to spam you or any other of our valued backers. We can see that you have supported our campaign- Thanks for the support!

@Kevin Thanks for your feedback! In the examples given they have included the shipping cost in the total price instead. We were considering this as well but decided to keep it separate in the end. We guess you just have to focus on the total price paid (50% off including shipping) rather than focus on the shipping cost itself. Thanks all for your great support and feel free to follow our team riders as they put our bags to test around the world:
Kelvin Chong
Hi Creator. Not sure I know but my experience has been with several other bags shipped free or reasonably e.g. Joey bag and Peak Design.
@Kelvin Great feedback.
- Shipping cost: On the previous two campaigns we had free shipping which ended up costing us a lot as we are charged by volume weight for the bags. That is why we are charging additional cost for shipping in order to break even on this campaign. We have been investigating the options to have a warehouse in Europe and the US in order to speed up delivery time and avoid import tax and duties. If you have any tip on great logistic partners to work with that are affordable with great customer experience which is the most important, please let us know. - Size bag: Please scroll to the bottom of the campaign where we have two photos of the models with the bags labeled PRO DRYBAG 45L and PRO DRYBAG 100L. Great idea to have a photo with the bags next to each other so you can see the difference and how they sit on the back. We will include that in our next update together with some other FAQ and coming Stretch goals we want to reach together. Thanks everyone for your great support and for helping us spreading the word about the campaign. Here are two recent articles below where our bag has been featured: The Coolector:
