The Hobot 298 is a robot that flawlessly cleans your windows to perfection

Published by Ashley Timms on Thursday 18th of July 2019

Subscribe to our new video Unboxing newsletter. We’ll review products with our host Jonny Caplan from Crowdfunding products to the best tech gear.

You already employ a robot to clean your floors. Now it’s time to apply that technology to your windows. The Hobot 298 attaches to your glass surfaces and cleans at a rate of one square meter per 2.5 minutes. Moving flawlessly and efficiently, it sprays your choice of window cleaner or water to scrub away smudges, streaks, wet nose marks, and more. Although it comes with a remote, it’s fully autonomous so it works on its own without any intervention. It can even detect when it reaches the edge of a window and knows when it’s completed the job.

Host Jonny Caplan puts it to the test to see just how efficient this robot really. Spoiler alert: it’s incredible.
