The Lytro Light Field Camera will allow you to refocus pictures “after” you take them. That’s because it records the entire light field, as opposed to an ordinary camera that just takes two dimensional pictures. This means you don’t have to wait for autofocus, and this in turn means instant pictures – as in snap when you see something good, and worry about getting the focus right afterwards. The Perspective Shift feature in this camera allows you to change the perspective afterwards by dragging the picture around in different directions. The camera is available in four colors, and comes with an 8x optical zoom. It’s lightweight and easy to hold, and you can easily draw and shoot with one hand. Even James Bond would be thrilled if Q gave him something like this.
