Our app is supporting the Android 8, but still need to work with it in a different way to "by pass" the problem - very easy and simple. You can contact us via app chat and we will guide you what to do. Also, we have our next version releasing very soon as well so should make it right as well. I took me over a month after my first contact, but I finally received a replacement UprightGo after the first shipment stopped tracking.
Have yet to try it out, but at least I received the product.

Thanks for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that you find the vibration to be too soft from what you expected. We do have new vibration patterns coming up soon so hopefully it will help you more. Yes, you are correct the Upright GO is also designed to be on a stand alone mode. Whenever you are on the go, and feeling like training and tracking your posture without dealing with your phone, simply follow these steps: Turn UPRIGHT GO on. Place it on your back and hold an upright position. Calibrate it by double clicking the power button.
UPRIGHT GO will respond with 2 vibrations. The app is supported on the smart watch so if you want it to vibrate through the smart watch then you need to be with app logged on and not on the stand alone mode. But i will go ahead and check if its a feature that is possible to have in the future. Many thanks and good luck with the training �

Unfortunately the Upright GO is not meant to prevent you from chair sliding. We do have the Upright PRO (our previous device) that can train you on your lower back and then to teach you how to sit upright and not slide down the chair. Let me know if you have further questions.

I actually looked at the conversation you had with the support agent and he explained how to calibrate and adjust the settings of the sensitivity correctly so it vibrates once you not in your Upright position. I am sorry, I haven't read all the comments here, but I believe the problem is partly due to the lack of sensory sensitivity (awareness) I have on the back on the area where the upright go is placed. I tried to stick it higher, it's more noticeable but not as good as I was expecting.
I think, I haven't verify that the upright go can work without being connected to the phone, right?
If it is, can you push a notification to notification bar when it detected slouching? That in turn would have my smartwatch vibrates (which is definitely more noticeable), and I think I could get my smartwatch/or a cheap smartband to vibrates once every time it sees the notification.
