Await Digital Camera: Overview
Await is a pocket-size digital camera from Rolling Square that shoots in film-style rolls, so you only see your photos after you develop them in the free app.
- Digital rolls: The camera holds 3 rolls of 24 frames. Syncing develops each roll with a vintage-style filter and clears the camera.
- Prints by mail: You can order 6 x 4-inch prints of any roll. Automatic mode waits 24 hours so you can skip a roll first.
- Xenon flash: A real xenon flash pairs with an 8MP Sony sensor, so party and night shots get a crisp film-camera look.
- Simple controls: One button shoots and another toggles the flash or timer, while an OLED screen shows frames left.
- Swappable faceplates: Magnetic front plates in five colors snap onto a clear body.
Await brings the wait and the print back to everyday photos. Check it out on Kickstarter.
